This is just a very necessary video during this COVID-19 crisis by a CEO for a company that supplies Insulin to PWD. The video was directed primarily at those who depend on Afrezza for mealtime glucose spikes, assuring them their supply won’t be interrupted. I’m definitely not happy with the way this Company seems to have headed under MC as CEO, but some of the comments bashing MC, especially on a Video such as this one are completely out of line. Almost “Trumplike”. Some here just don’t believe MC can do anything right, (the video was a good move), and if he does, they’ll complain how he did it, or where he did it. I’m seeing fake fireplace comments, prefab home comments, WTF??? Mike and Mannkind are doing the same thing we are all doing during this crisis, just trying to stay alive while running the Company. I don’t blame anybody for being fed up with Mike but during this crisis I think we should hold back with any unnecessary public insults, at a time like this there’s no telling what anybody may be going through, out here in Washington, hospitals are turning elderly people away and sending them home to die so they can save a younger life with a ventilator. Both my Father, and my Father in law have been in the Hospital through this crisis without a single visitor. It won’t be long and most everybody will be affected by this crisis in one way or another, it’s time to be as nice and friendly as possible. No disrespect intended to anybody, I’m guilty too. Please remember to wash your hands with “soap” for at least 20 seconds to help avoid contamination. ✌🏻😎 So sorry to hear about your Father and Father-in-law. I wish them a speedy recovery. Stay safe.

Water "over the dam" as you say or under the bridge, the point is that he kept the company afloat at a time when we were brought to the point of being dead by the previous CEOs who just milked this company dry and wasted every possible opportunity and resource. And not only did he keep it afloat, he managed to make progress on many fronts too. Sure, shareholder communication is insufficient and miserable in many aspects, transparency is almost non-existent, management not buying any shares in the open market is showing anything but trust in a turn-around, false statements are still abounding, resistance to working closely with VDEX seems short sighted at best and ill-intended at worst but we are limping forward rather than backwards as before.

Hi Sports, just wondering if you still trying to help to make win-win deal between MNKD and Vdex? Hi:-) The last time I personally directly talked to Mike about it was eight months ago but I’m gonna put this question into a pot with some others and try to get back to you tomorrow or early next week. People have been e-mailing Bill with questions on several different topics. I’ve had a lot of questions from Stocktwits also. We are going to address them first on the Vdex thread. So any questions about management, Vdex, HfM..all are welcome. From Kevinmik Emailed Bill “Hope you are well and remain safe. Just want to know when we will hear from you about MNKD leaving you off the nominee list for Board of Director vote at the ASM. None of your nominees were added to the list of nominees shareholders can vote on. Did MNKD give you a reason for leaving off the list ? Not sure what's going on at MNKD and I am concerned given the unacceptable performance rating MNKD. BOD gave to Management for 2019. BOD gave Management an amazing 97 points out of 100, that is absolutely ridiculous. Is getting a Blackrock person on MNKD Board of Directors good or bad ? Did Blackrock push for getting someone on the Board of Directors to influence change or did MNKD offer a seat to get Blackrock support. I truly hope we are on the cusp of seeing a major restructuring at MNKD or I am afraid the status quo will continue with the company operating more like its privately owned rather than a public traded company; Hope to hear from you soon.” BTW... it looks like Mango‘s petition is up to 274 votes!

Hi Sports, just wondering if you still trying to help to make win-win deal between MNKD and Vdex? ... From Kevinmik ...Is getting a Blackrock person on MNKD Board of Directors good or bad ? Did Blackrock push for getting someone on the Board of Directors to influence change or did MNKD offer a seat to get Blackrock support... I can answer that with a reasonable degree of certainty. (a) she is not a Blackrock person, she is an ex-Blackrock person and has been for two years, (b) Blackrock does not put people (especially 3rd parties) on the boards of MicroCaps - the return for the person's time would not justify it. Whether or not she is good or bad is an entirely separate debate and in no way involves Blackrock. that's down to her and what she can add.

Can anyone think of a company where a new board member has contributed anything that directly benefited the company in question? Offhand, I don't recall reading about any in the news.

One thing to keep an eye on is the relationship and agreements with Amphastar. Will be interesting to see if in fact companies start decoupling from China how MNKD would be impacted.

I cannot see Mannkind splitting from Amphastar as there is a contractual obligation. At the end of the contract both sides are free to decide if they want to continue, but right now the contract binds them all.

Besides, Amphastar has manufacturing sites in other countries besides China. The fact that they built a plant in China was to gain admittance to China, a country will huge numbers but which also insists that corporations who want to do business in China must build in China.

Good video. I appreciate Mike actually taking the time to do this, and especially liked the part about trying to do weekly updates going forward. Is he still doing these weekly updates as planned? Looks like I must have missed a bunch.

He may not have anything to talk about regarding MannKind, but the least he could do is give us an “MTV Cribs” tour of his house...
