This is causing you both so much unhappiness. I feel like it should me too, but it doesn’t. I have way more invested than I should have too. I don’t feel like I’m complacent. I’m not sure why there is such a disconnecct. I think maybe it’s because my experience tells me that Mannkind is and has been in a hell of a jam for multiple years and expecting more than what you’re getting isn’t wrong necessarily, but a matter of your frame of reference. My frame of reference is thank God they’re not bankrupt and my money forever lost. Your frame of reference seems to be IF ONLY they had better management we would all be millionaires. The truth is probably somewhere in between. As disappointed as I am about this company and its results so far I do believe that this is a fair assessment. I too am in WAY to much and down BIG time with this stock. I can only imagine that Mr. Mann is likely rolling in his grave at the way that his "gift" to the diabetic world has not been the success that he must have thought it to be. He was a major reason that I invested as much as I did at a time that I ought not to have (at my age and this was to be my retirement funds). Perhaps the reason we all feel differently about the managements performance is our "need" - I am sure that Bill Gates would not worry or loose too much sleep if he lost $250k or so ---- but I do. The world can invent the absolute best mousetrap but if it doesnt sell - it will fail! You claim to be a long term shareholder and have lost big. It is obvious you have not been following what has been the failure. Many diabetics have been eager to try it and they did. They don’t stay with it because they don’t know how to use it. A Dr. writes a patient a prescription and says good luck hope you like it. Because the Dr doesn’t have a clue how to instruct the patient. The huge drop out rate is due to managements failure to of first built a base of patients that have a successful experience. Instead MC first step for the launch was a 10 million dollar tv add campaign. I thought it was insane then but most here thought it was a brilliant move and I was heavily chastised for any criticism of Castagna. I am glad some people here are finally starting to recognize the level of incompetence in Both Castagna and Kresa.

In the long run, you would have been better off investing that $25 in MNKD stock yesterday. A year from now you will see this is so.

How do you feel about giving themselves a 93/100 for performance? Like I said, dilution is probably a necessary evil, but the fact that the management team/BoD keeps touting themselves as having done a great job is embarrassing. 93/100 on a year when many companies are giving 120%, 130% and higher incentive payments sounds about right. Post data that backs up this claim, otherwise you just sound like Castagna with his “22% shareholder return beating a list of peers”.

Dude, make it larger next time. I can barely see it. I am so tired of hyperbole. I'm going to take a break. See y'all later.

...- Achieve Afrezza net sales expectations 40% = 9/40 points- Deliver cash on hand expectations 20% = 40/20 points - Deliver on business development priorities 20% = 24/20 points- Progress clinical development programs and regulatory submissions 20% = 20/20 points
Overall result: 93 out of 100 possible pointsAs a result of this assessment, 93% of the target STI opportunity for each executive officer will be paid in April 2020 as non-equity incentive compensation for 2019. I know it's late for a reply to this, but I was looking at it again to see how Mike did. - The Afrezza sales were less that a quarter of expected sales. That jumps right out. - The cash in hand was twice what was expected. That seems like a weird metric. The management could simply focus on raising cash via dilution to game this metric and hit their target regardless of sales. In this case raising cash substantially offset the penalty for spectacularly missing their sales revenue target. - Business development priorities. That's reasonable. - Clinical development and submissions. That's reasonable. My feeling is that the cash in hand metric, while a reasonable idea in principle, needs to be tweaked.

The only reason I still hold a good number of MNKD shares is Afrezza. We need to get rid of the current BoD and the management team soon so that Afrezza could still have a chance to shine in the not far future.
