The only thing that is stopping me from buying more shares ... is the Feds. I just did my daughter's taxes and although she hasn't worked or received a paycheck yet ... she will be getting a refund of $900. My wife and I on the other hand, have withholdings well into the 6 figure range ... AND still we have to pay an additional $90k. What the heck !!! I'm an accountant ... but this year's taxes/instructions are the craziest yet. You have to read areas several times to make sure what you have to do. And still you're not positive. It's like they have a challenge each year on who can make the instructions the most confusing and create the most tax penalties.  But, that's mytakeonit |

When you wake up and realize you have to pay taxes, then you should be happy, you pay taxes because you have money, you can go to tax office or use a computer you have a computer and legs to go to the office and finally you invest in Mannkind, but that's another story

How about this?
Warren Buffet was on tv talking about how much $10,000 invested in an S&P 500 index type of investment in the 1940's would be worth day if you reinvested dividends and capital gains.
It would be worth more than $50 million.
then I calculated realy value inflation adjusted..... so if you take inflation into account that $50 million is really only worth less than $4 million.
They can debase your currency faster than you can earn more in income. Median income in 2000 was $31,000 in 2020 median income was around $34,000/year, but to have $31,000 in 2020 compared to 20000 you need to have almost $50,000/year.
