We had a great upturn in stocks in general at the close of Friday. All of my stocks went up but all were coming off of very depressed levels (from 2021 highs).
I do see a lot of pull toward option strike prices on a Friday when options expire. We see it over and over again, and not just with MNKD.
I believe we will see $6-$10 over the course of 2022. I expect a bit of a pop from the FDA approval but how big depends on where the stock price is just prior to the announcement. Will we have a buy the rumor, sell the news scenario?
We may see the stock price retreat after the announcement until we see the royalties rolling in for a couple of quarters.
Agonizing over day to day stock price moves is for traders, not long term investors. The CRL was a big disappointment in Oct. but I predict that will be forgotten by the end of the year.

Good post, boca. I hope no “buy rumor, sell news” scenario but can’t deny it’s been in my mind too.
Sports my prediction was also in the $6 range, but that was back when we were around $5. After this downturn, my prediction is now down to the $4 to $5 range. Degree of confidence in my own prognostication abilities: extremely low (that part hasn’t changed).

Sorry ... but I am a "buy the rumor ... buy more with the news" kinda guy. I would have loaded up on yesterday's lows ... but peppy said "NO ... YOU CAN'T YET !!!"

Often where there's a late day jump like we saw on Friday, it leads to an announcement the following Monday morning since insiders always know in advance. The Friday move could have simply been an overall market reaction. If however, there is an announcement, I'm not expecting a big one as the jump would likely have been higher. It could simply be an announcement about the forthcoming 4Q report. Of course, it might also be nothing. I will be awaiting Monday morning regardless.

PRC Consider ignoring cretin11 and the like. I for one am counting the days to see if / when we get the FDA approval. I.M.H.O. if we receive this approval, MNKD share price will see all-time highs. For what it's worth, with a class 1 designation, i think the approval is forthcoming. We shall see. When making predictions, please keep in mind, I am wrong more often than not. Best of luck to all MNKD equity shareholders. winner, for the record I agree with your prediction that approval is forthcoming. However, I predict approval will not bring MNKD share price to all time highs (or even remotely close). Like you, I am wrong a lot, but predictions are fun so we’ll see how these go. And I’m pulling for you on that all time share price prediction.If prices hit all time highs on Monday morning (like, $110/share), I'm taking that right to the bank. That is not a prediction.
