This may be a little off topic, but this section of the board has really become all about MNKD stock and not just volume...
Am I the only one that found the volume in May 15 $10 calls to be a little odd today - 250 contracts have traded with half the day to go. The price action has not been driven up, but it just seems like very neat, very measured buys (25 contracts at a time). Who ever it is, these trades have cost them almost nothing to put on, the commission charges were probably more than the premium, but it just seems like a strange bet.
Boy I sure hope somebody knows something we all don't.

I was looking at picking up some late May (28th expiry) contracts, the spreads were definitely out of whack, mainly because of the annual SH meeting most likely...I'm with you, hopefully THIS year somebody who knows somebody who knows something. I know this, I've been on A now for a fairly long time (over 3+ yrs.) with no contraindications, and controlled numbers... grateful to have gotten through my bout last year with covid and not having to have been admitted for any breathing/lung issues. 😉 |

Added more today. Tyvaso DPI NDA filing is imminent. When that happens, short thesis days are numbered, but they are welcome to stay for as long as they like  Also, I expect additional UT pipeline candidates to be revealed after the NDA filing is done and accepted by FDA. Longs don't need luck. |

Regarding volume, There was a time a few months ago, when MNKD average daily volume was 2,500,000 shares. I keep watching The real time volume out pacing the summary volume. If summary volume is the buyer and the seller, it should be double real time. Anyway, plenty of real time shares have been going out for months. Short covering and buying? My guess is the number of real time shares is reflecting the options market? People taking the shares?  Other people mentioning it is the ATM. I do not understand the ATM, if someone wants to fill me in. I need a course. |
