Stop losses being taken out? What % dilution is the offering? I doubt it is as large as the drop in share price.

What is their rationale for the A rating sports? Just curious what Schwab thought is the catalyst. I don’t know I wish I did.

I just bought a few more shares at 4.70. Hope the announced conversion price is at least $5.

The usual script is down on positive news and down more on news viewed as negative, and always disproportionate to a rational analysis of the event. I’m guessing the many newbies with their stop losses helped create a downdraft the shorts are happily enjoying.

My word. The shorts have thrown everything at the stock today. The kitchen sink, in fact the whole kitchen. I am impressed that the shorts are pressing this right to the end of the day. Which is surprising to me. Normally, they grab stopped out shares and run. I stand with Mike C. In the biotech world, you raise money when you can for the best terms you can. Our days of needed to raise cash are coming close to an end but I trust Mike C. If he felt that this was a good move, so be it. The 25% drop in share price is a ridiculous over shot. But that’s what the shorts have done over the years. I am as bullish as I have ever been. Today sucks but we will move forward.

Do you always just "blame the shorts" whenever the stock goes down?
Face it, the timing of the announcement sucks and the lack of details/transparency is par for the course for MannKind.

The shorts have been manipulating this stock for years and years. I hope they burn for it. The shorts are a bunch of low life leaches that attach themselves to a stock and try to bleed the company into bankruptcy. Thankfully they will not succeed with this stock. Today sucks but thankfully the shorts will not win the war on this stock. So I completely disagree with you as I do most of your posts.

Yeah well, your beloved Mike C just gave shorts a massive handout.

We don't we blame the shorts. It was refreshing to see them disappear for awhile on this site, but it seems they've all crawled back out from under their rocks. No worries though, without them, I don't get these buying opportunities and as my friend says, they're good to have around because they create liquidity in the market. That reminds me, just how much did Bernstein recently contribute after they got caught with an oversized short position shorting GME? Is $5B correct?

I've bought back most of the shares I sold in the upper 5's and over 6.
I'm assuming this is a 1-day attack, although I think we'll need some new/good news to get the stock over 6 again

Remember the "thoughtful" posts on here over the years about how abusive naked shorting didn't exist.....not seeing so much of that since GME nudists got caught with their bum hanging out. To soon?
