Low Volume Pullback Definition By Justin Kuepper Updated Sep 2, 2020 What is a Low Volume Pullback?
A low volume pullback is a technical correction toward an area of support that occurs on lower-than-average volume. Since the move occurs on low volume, traders often attribute the pullback to weak longs locking in profits rather than a reversal. Key Takeaways
Low volume pullbacks occur when the price moves towards support levels on lower than average volume. Low volume pullbacks are often a sign of weak longs taking profit, but suggest that the long-term uptrend remains intact. High volume pullbacks suggest that there could be a near-term reversal.
Low Volume Pullbacks Explained
Frequent moves that occur in the opposite direction of a trend, which are accompanied by low volume, are normal fluctuations and generally deemed to be insignificant. On the other hand, a large spike in volume in the opposite direction of the trend could be used to signal that the smart money is starting to look for the exits and the trend is getting ready to reverse. These significant moves lower are known as high volume pullbacks.

Mnkd sp is currently under valued according to Nate. The trend is rising sp. Market or SmartMoney has a value on mnkd and future looks good so what's with controlled slow drip? No respect as Rodney Dangerfield said.

No respect as Rodney Dangerfield said. Speaking of slow drips... You must admit Wyattdog’s explanation answered your questions, at least from the perspective of the author being quoted. I hate times like this because I want to add on the dip, but I tend to be greedy and set my price points too low. We’ll see what happens this time.

Happy Mother Day to all of the Mannnkind Corporation Message shareholders; I am a Mannkind stock bag holder. I began my first and only stock purchased on May 1, 2015. by a splitting of $100,000 into $50,000 of shares of Mannkind and AMD. My AMD purchased price was $2.30 (which is $80ish). I got no answer yet from the question which I sent to Mannkind management. Here was it. "I sent the question to Michael asking when, whether or how, he will be able to have his confidence, competent or capable of recovering my $50,000 investment of $5.20 par shares on May 1, 2015. I got no answer yet. Maybe he is too busy or shams to answer it. I wish they have an excellent Mother Day party too, or they can sleep day by day, all day long as usual. 😊
