Good question Clement. Easy answer. I don’t know. I will say that in my experience (going back to 2013) MNKD has not typically tracked with any index. I have a question for you and I’m sure the answer is going to teach me something so I’m eager to read what you tell me; why do you pick the S&P (500?) index as the bellwether? Is it a market cap thing, or what exactly? Thanks! I have nothing to teach you. The S&P is an easy thing to grab onto which reflects the total market and is easy to quantitate. I was wondering what happens with a major market correction. So, you answered my question saying that mnkd has not tracked with any index. I think my answer was misleading. The only index I ever look at regularly is the Dow 30. In my lifetime it has been the Dow that economists focused on, or at least the major news organizations (for whatever that’s worth). What I’ve noticed during market corrections is investors head for cover, so bonds and dividends from mature established companies like oil, food/grocery, stuff that people have to have. I’m like BD though, investing and bioinvesting is not my area of expertise, so take my posts with a grain of salt.

I think over short time periods MNKD sometimes tracks with IBB index, though MNKD can certainly have company specific trends that totally wash out any correlation with the index. That's the same as most stocks, but with MNKD having rather large company specific swings on various news.

boca, thanks for that protective order, I hope it works again 😋 As for RLS, NRXP and/or 2nd UT molecule, my opinion is all three of those are too speculative to help us with share price any time in the near future. Since none of us knows what the future holds, we’ll just have to see what unfolds. I think we’ll know by Friday if we’ll hold the line around $4 until news develops. I hope UT announces more info about the delayed approval at the conference this week. So far, my protective buy order at $3.75 has worked. I was pleasantly surprised at the nice move up this week after Monday’s decline. I feel that that we will hold the line at $4 and looking forward to getting back to $5 soon.

Joey, as of today the odds have swung on our informal wager. Now i will need odds from you! Let's hope that pendulum continues in the same direction.

Joey, as of today the odds have swung on our informal wager. Now i will need odds from you! Let's hope that pendulum continues in the same direction. Quote: Joey said, "Still fully expecting 4 to hold, guess we'll see...I could get 5:1 odds on it 🤔" Quote Cretin said: "5-1 odds ship has sailed for now, as you know with bookmakers it’s always a fluid situation. 2-1 as of today 😃" Cretin, don't forget about my odds. I am very odd. It is being bought. Not only will four hold, price is going to 5 before the end of the month. In the next 5 trading days. The gap fills at $5.06. That is all I have. Chances of it happening are 100% so is that 1;1? This thing is headed up and it is going to bust out. $5.02 takes out the price of the last two months, $5.44 tests this months high. I am going through my biblical phase.... the walls of Jericho fell after the Israelites marched around the city walls once a day for six days and seven times on the seventh day then blew their trumpets. ... Do the count..... It is time. Oh, I think I am so funny.

peppy: 1:1 odds would imply a 50% chance of it happening. If the odds are 100% then you’ll probably get no action on it. But few things in life are 100%, and even fewer when it comes to stocks…

But few things in life are 100%, and even fewer when it comes to stocks… oh, Ha. Ok, your puts are trash. If MNKD was going to sell off, it had 4 days to continue down last week. However price reversed. Price is not going to do a u turn next week, It is going to continue up. I can not give odds, however.... I am odd. Thanks for the odds lesson.

Are we putting on a straddle to cover November 7 …I’m not quite clear on what’s going on here? Odds…

Are we putting on a straddle to cover November 7 …I’m not quite clear on what’s going on here? Odds… scroll back. The men were discussing odds. When people are good at odds, they are good at odds. Like in a casino. A 5 deck black jack deal. Counting the cards....the odds of the next card being a 10 or face card.... Straddles....

The fact that we only saw heavy selling on Monday (and how much of that was short?) was telling. The street money is not betting MNKD & UTHR are at significant risk of failure. If the buy pressure and volume continues and the floor becomes $5 again (an important bulkhead for many institutional investors), I’d guess puts are going to do what they often do, expire worthless.
