Sorry if I missed this discussion. Has the board discussed the general thought surrounding the status of the potential second UTHR molecule? Is it something that is still possible or has a proof of concept determined that the said molecule is no longer feasible / being considered?

Good question. I haven’t seen anything definitive so I’ve assumed it is still a possibility but perhaps not a current priority.

I've been curious about the existence of a second molecule. Thought it was in the bag but now I'm not so sure. Martine was asked about further collaboration with Mannkind in the last CC. He just said we have a robust IP portfolio and Dr soandso has done a wonderful job...blahblahblah. It was NOT encouraging.
There was a part of me that thought maybe MNKD 201 or 301 might be one that we are getting a head start on to advance and collaborate later for a higher buy-in price. Now, I'm looking at the enormous Xenotransplantation business they're going forward on and I don't know if they'll want another collaboration with us any time soon. Their plate is pretty full.
So, where does that leave us? Mike seems really excited about the pipeline advancing. My guess is, now that we've established a path to profitability, we are leaning towards going it alone with our pipeline until at least late phase 2 or even Phase 3. Personally, I want to see what we can do for patients with cystic fibrosis. Don't know how UTHR fits into that equation anymore other than being the 800lb gorilla in the space.

The Xenotransplantation business may require anti-rejection drugs, like one MNKD formulated...

I forgot about BlueHale. UTHR licensed it from us before all the global chip makers......forgot how to make them? or whatever...? Mentioned as something to look for in the 4th quarter in the last CC. There's another possible revenue stream. Something, anyway.

BluHale. My suspicion is that UTHR has been involved with development and they require: 1) user-friendliness, 2) reliability, 3) compliance reporting with dose, time of dose and correct inhalation, 4) appearance of being current, like a modern app on your smartphone
I'm good with the delay because I hope there will be enough beta testing to be sure these criteria are met. This will not only help Tyvaso-DPI -- it will help Afrezza.

Taiwan, an island, gets delivery of all sorts of components.

Can China engage in a civil war with Taiwan and risk severe trade sanctions and isolation? If isolated, can China be self-sufficient, and prosperous? Their totalitarian oligarchy and emperor will let us know.
The chips will fall where they may. Maybe MNKD and UTHR could collaborate on making a BlueHale that operated as a breath-powered CGM and estimated required dosages for Afrezza (and sensing PAH byproducts estimate dose for Tyvaso DPI?).

All cows had to be imported, unless they swam, from china. What USA island can the ships come into with components? Close to commerce? Who will put them together? The unborn? Bots?

Peppy - Mike mentioned in one of the podcasts a few weeks ago the Blue Hale was delayed due to the chip shortage.

Hilarious. Is there a similar timer for all of the vehicles not on car lots because of their chip supply problem?
I’ve always thought BlueHale would be nifty for training but are there other values anticipated?
