Yes, I did too. An authorization is not an offering. Given the amount of shares authorized, I expect a more likely use would be as part of one or more acquisitions. |

My Gosh I hope everyone gets back from the Hamptons (or where ever they have gone for the last three weeks) and start pushing this stock back close to or above five cause this is painful. It is like our Quarterback has a nine yard gain on first down and then hands the ball off for an 8 yard loss on the very next play. And God knows we are not any good on 3rd down. I don't mind this action if the options are liquid and have some juice in them, but we are in no man's land when it comes to options right now - no volume - no reasonable strikes on the weeklies being added - no reasonable premium to be had right now by selling puts or calls considering the risk.
I'm concerned that the street and retail investors have fallen into the perpetual let's wait for what ever the "next thing" is supposed to be with this company. I include myself here as I find myself constantly saying "next earnings call will make the difference. Just one more call. We've waited over a decade, what's a couple more months. Wait for MNKD 101 to readout. Wait for this, wait for that.
But I guess I will just wait for the next earnings call, hey it's only two and a half months away. One thing I can promise when earnings day comes, if the stock spikes up again, I will be much more aggressive selling calls against my position. Last earnings, I only sold calls against about 10% of my position, laddering them with strikes of 6 and 7. I am hoping that by mid-November MNKD is in the high 5s, low sixes. If that is the case look out 7, 8, 10 calls in Jan & Feb because I'll be coming for you!
There, that is my Eeyore moment for this quarter. Thanks for reading it as it was very cathartic...for me anyway.

Obviously you're playing the wrong sport ... because you are looking for a HOME RUN !!! That'll start with the end of year conference call and we'll get a better picture of what is happening.
So for now ... just make some popcorn and settle back and watch some Netflix movies.
BTW, it's easier if you just buy shares and sit back and relax.
