Wall Street loves good marketing more than truth because of the results it delivers. There are countless examples of deceptive marketing that can be seen everyday. It changes society. Whether good or bad is another discussion. Think how "Cloud Technology" changed business management decisions. There's no such thing as moving data to a cloud. It was a deceptive phrase introduced to convince companies to transfer data to larger, remote data centers managed by others. AI is another example. What's now marketed as artificial intelligence isn't. It's just faster computer calculations from larger data bases. It's frightening that AI is now and will be manipulated by humans. Our world is filled with both awesome potential and danger. Unfortunately, truth is far too often concealed by deception. Wall Street doesn't care about truth or deception, only results.

Pretty bad examples of "deception". Does anyone think the data is moving to an actual cloud? It is an effective term that captures the business proposition and concept for consumers. "Have your data available anywhere", not just tied to what is locally stored or in a on-premise data center. It can be way more cost effective to utilize cloud computing over building and managing data centers yourself. As for AI, you are greatly simplifying what it is.

Cloud computing is a real change, whether you like the particular phrase they came up for it or not. No one considers that deceptive because no one in their right mind would have ever thought it meant storing data amongst water vapor in the sky. Saying Bluhale has something to do with AI is simply a lie, not coining a new term for new technology. And no, AI doesn't just mean faster calculations on more data. It only refers to particular types of algorithms. I beg to differ about Wall Street not caring about truth or deception. Deceiving wall street is something that will get a company in the dog house pretty quickly. They likely don't mind a company that uses deception/hype/hyperbole when marketing to their customers, but take a dim view of companies that lie to the investment community. Claiming to investors you have something to do with AI may provide short term pop if you get meme'ers to pump the idea to retail investors, but when it becomes apparent it was blowing smoke up investors ars*s, credibility is damaged if the company itself was involved in the deceptive pumping. MNKD management should stick to leaving the wild pumping to mnkd.proboards.com crowd, LOL Deceiving investors is like Elizabeth Holmes. Even if she weren't going to jail, she wouldn't be able to raise capital again.
