Well obviously I went long Sanofi. The blood in the water made me hungry...
Shorting Novo would be more challenging. Novo investors are very confident right now, so unless an analyst changes their rating to sell, I don't see a good risk reward. If the optimism continues, you could try a short position right before the next conference call...their diabetes business probably won't work out as well as people hope and they'll have to start addressing it on the next call. (Assuming my thesis is valid)
