Biotec, if you suffer from migraines, you will be one off the first people to use Technosphere for migraine headaches, after you hear it provides almost immediate relief. It will take years and years to get something for migraines to market. Afrezza is boom or bust for us.

I've seen a few people on the diabetic forums say that they won't try Afrezza because it's inhaled but that's three times a day for the rest of their lives. I doubt if many would have those same concerns for medication for pain, migraine, IBS, etc. since it's only used occasionally. I few! Brentie its been many! Poor Afrezzauser was on a diabetic forum saying all the good stuff and talking his heart out but he was jumped all over, Saying he was an invester thats why he was there! I read all his positive facts ( Yes facts his real life with Afrezza) Any way he got so much heat. biotec, I recall that, he certainly had his hands full there. For anybody interested, here is what biotec is talking about, it's from a few years ago. One word of warning, you're going to want to punch Zoe if you read all 8 pages. www.tudiabetes.org/forum/topics/afrezza-an-ultra-rapid-acting-insulin-inhaled-insulin-onset-12?id=583967%3ATopic%3A2857179&page=1#comments

It seems to me that micro-manager diabetics share something in common with ... cough .... OCD stock investors that stay up late at night to post their research and opinions too ... ; )
I feel like WHEN this finally takes off and I eventually move on from MNKD, I will need a new stock board anon site to post about my inability to stop posting and stalking these boards.

Lookup Agios (AGIO) if you want another cool company to focus on. Sadly no good message board ( that I have seen) for that one. JPG

Brentie , thanks for posting, reading the various replies shows a wide spectrum of type 1 and type 2's will using Afrezza , keeping it on hand for emergency use or at least trying it . Zoe seems to have developed type 3 .

Yes they are getting pricey but I have been saying that since the 40$ per share price point (and have sadly stopped buying at 40$)... Amongst other things unique way of 'fixing' some cancers. To the best of my knowledge no one has ever done this type of fixing (not killing). Theoretically there would be little phylogenetic reason to develop resistance to this type of therapy? Time will tell. JPG

Q2U, I agree This has been a heck of a ride & it's not over yet (& I've only been in a year ) ./ Without this board I don't know if I would have had the stomach to hang in there ! I've since diversified my portfolio (aside from 401k) & bought 1 other Biotec stock ,) Coco has created a monster in me as once you go Biotec (my only personal investment experience has been MNKD) how can you go to the stable dividend stocks? So boring ,) I have 1/10th what I have in MNKD in the other stock & the message boards for that one suck! When this journey ends (which I think will be a while) & one of us come across the next potential "Big" thing . I hope we can have BD & Liane back again as well as all of you . I personally don't see another Mannkind opportunity happening but with the advancement in technology that we're witnessing in our Lifetime it probably will . I don't however, think we'll see another Al Mann but I'd love to be wrong. I still remember as a kid getting our 1st microwave, 1st VCR, cordless phone ect. . We are living in the generation of Technilogical & Scientific advancements ,so I look forward to what the future holds I'm just too obsessed with Mannkind to pay attention to much else these days. I'm not sure what's going on with the "Oculus Rift" technology but that's something to watch for later .( I think the company is still private but my baby brother (31 yo )has it even tho he had to build a computer to run it & it's so cool! (virtual reality)) should be big dtr . Sorry for ramble I'm just grateful for this board ! And I really hope tomorrow brings something exciting , for my low expectaions of late I'd be thrilled to hear Al Mann speak as he passes the Torch to Hakan at the JPM conf Boomboom nailed it today ! Al's baby has matured & it's time to let it fly We'll all know more this time next year but I have no regrets about this investment & I am one who does not spend $ frivilously ! GLTA:) Tomorrow is just another day and if we get an unexpected gift from conference then that'll be a bonus. But I'm Grateful for all of you Lynn

Funny how he knows how to make a call on biotechs except for MNKD which he just can seem to know enough about. Cramer is a conman and should be in jail for his deception and manipulation over the years. And CNBC should be ashamed for giving him a platform.

I would guess he is a recent convert? I doubt he is that big an influence though. Don't know about Cramers biotech track record but was lead to believe his overall record is not market beating. People pay to much attention to him and his likes. As to Agios run I would credit extraordinary data and Celegene doubling down more then anything else. Incyte (which I sadly sold way to early) would be a reasonable comparison. JPG

Daduke38, We can not only guarantee it, but also say that product cost will not stop most migraine sufferers from using it. My son gets migraines headaches occasionally. Believe me, he would pay big bucks for a faster relief. I am hoping that MNKD keeps migraine pain in their own pipeline and license out some of the other Technosphere applications.
