There's no bull raids because there's no real reason for an institution to get bullish yet.
We're in "prove it" mode on Afrezza.
$5 per share sounds "cheap" but the fact of the matter is they are valued at over $2bn with no meaningful revenue. While low initial sales numbers can be explained away logically, the fact is, they're still too low to make a concrete call on its success or failure...and even at $2bn Afrezza has to be at least a moderate success to justify the market cap valuation.
While we all wonder how they could possibly overlook the upside, you have to keep in mind the institutions with enough capital to get this thing moving have likely not done nearly as much due diligence on this stock as most people on this forum. How many stocks do you follow as closely? 20? 10? 0? MNKD is about 50th on the list of largest holdings in a biotech ETF like IBB. So not only are there about 50 stocks they probably devote more time to, MNKD doesn't exactly 'screen' well when you're looking at metrics on a sheet of paper without knowing the story.
Once we start seeing M/M and Q/Q accelerating revenue growth, I can guarantee you Institutional $$ will start to get interested. They have a much different process for researching/evaluating stocks than the average individual investor, who becomes much more captivated with a story rather than numbers and formulas. I highly doubt that Goldman's/JP Morgan's/UBS's etc. analysts are reading every new Afrezzauser post the day it comes on his blog.

Speaking of bull raids, I think we saw one today!!! Damn bulls! I think the shorts just decided not to fight the tape today after the Fed announcement...volume was low. Wait until 15-30 min after the open tomorrow...I'm expecting another sharp drop down.
