Ah. Maybe this's what 50k+ samples were for, ADA attendees? At least a few thousands of them? I hope they are allowed to hand out samples in conferences like this. I highly doubt it as it must be refrigerated. More likely - take a name and address, and send samples to doc's office. Can someone tell us WHO are the attendees at these conferences primarily? PWD? Diabetes educators, drs, nurses, endos etc? Hospital and clinic staff? Thanks

You can't just give prescription drug samples away to anyone who wants one at a conference. They aren't t-shirts. But you could give away the Dreamboat...just to show how simple it all is.

If I was part of the SNY mktg dept, I would have had the dreamboats made into either jumpsticks (thumb drives) or key chains or whistles to give out at the booth. When I headed biz dev for a company, we were a gold sponsor of a BIO mtg in Seattle and gave out umbrellas with our logo/colors. Couldn't have gotten luckier since it rained the first day and looking down from the window of my hotel room, all you could see were open umbrellas with our logo everywhere on the street below.

AFREZZA AT ADA 2015 CONVENTION PHOTO
nice of Matt P. to post it today....
Seems to me that Sanofi is fully engaged with their partner MannKind.
Should I stay long or sell out on Monday? Somebody please answer me.

is there an afrezza sign on the opposite corner as well? That would not only make sense it would be awesome. this font almost makes it look like an afrezza booth.

I copied this off the YMB and not really sure if it is true... But if it is true, then this will only add to the momentum. joshua.bohinc • 32 minutes ago 9users liked this postsusers disliked this posts0Reply new CEO of ADA appear to be an Afrezza supporter! Check out tweet by joshb2383 "Diabetes Pro, CPA" today at 11am. The tweet states, "#afrezza warning all endos, if you don't llisten/hear out your patients you will be replaced." Here is the good part......Kevin Hagan, new CEO of ADA, favorited this tweet. Previously, Kevin tweeted "We must address #diabetes from patient point of view says @amdiabetesassn President of Health Care&Edu, Dr David Marerro #2015ada" Looks like we have someone who understands paradigm shift of Afrezza and his interaction with VP of US Diabetes (Purcel from SNY) went well the other day.

Will be interesting to see price/volume Monday morning.
Maybe shorts will be able to mount another effective attack, but I suspect there may be a real possibility that the momentum is getting beyond their abilities to reverse. It seems that most everything bad to say about a slow start has already been said. Analysts have already adjusted down targets. So the bad seems to be behind us and the things moving forward would seem to be the positives. They'll be buzz from ADA, and that may carry through to DTC ads.

Leave it to the #AfrezzaFrenzies. LOL! Let's just call it a wrap for ADA after that.

Afrezza has its own theater listed for today but I'm guessing it will also get a significant shout out from Dr. Eldelman at this theater on Monday morning: 10:15 a.m.-11:00 a.m. Nonadherence & Glycemic Control: A Real-World Look at the Issues and Challenges We Face Sponsored by Intarcia Therapeutics, Inc. The incidence of type 2 diabetes mellitus (T2DM) continues to rise, as does the burden for the health care system. Nonadherence to prescribed medications in T2DM is a key limitation to achieving consistent glycemic control and may negatively affect treatment outcomes. This presentation, delivered by experts from both the health care provider and benefit management/employer perspectives, will take a fresh look at issues of nonadherence in the management of T2DM. The speakers will examine the correlations between nonadherence and poor glycemic control, as well as the resulting health and economic burdens. The speakers will then examine factors that contribute to nonadherence, as well as discuss strategies aimed at improving nonadherence and control, and will conclude by accepting questions from the audience. Presenters: Steven V. Edelman, MD Clinical Professor of Medicine University of California, San Diego Troy Ross, MSM President & CEO Mid-America Coalition on Health Care
