Since it has been fairly quiet and volume has been so light figured it would be interesting to see how many existing and want to be shareholders are waiting and at what price if not already completed with purchases as we "languish" at these lower prices

Is there a category that says: I own too much and should have sold some @ $11?

Is there a category that says: I own too much and should have sold some @ $11? Ash, How many do you think when it was at 11 said..."dang, don't have enough, wish I had loaded up when it was 5?" goes both ways doesn't it

Without a doubt. You never have enough when the price goes up. This price action over the past month has just been downright depressing. There's going to be capitulation at some point when longs can't take the pain anymore and sell. That's the toughest part: Sell or hang in there? Maybe we could get some volunteers to sell because you know as soon as you can't take the pain anymore and finally sell, the stock will turn around and go right back up.

We must wait patiently as the silence is deafening. I am excited by all the user reviews (Spiro) & believe the science is a game changer. SNY has a plan but is simply playing it close to the vest. When the DTC begins (who knows when) then we will know that SNY believes their sales team has educated enough doctors & production will meet the demand (lines 2-3).
Those that attended last years share holder meeting were excited by Al's optimism. Most expected much better share price appreciation with all that has happened! As a frustrated bag holder that owns too many shares , I FEEL YOUR PAIN! However, nothing has changed my belief that Afrezza will be a winner & diabetics will be better off for it! This share holder meeting will be interesting so hopefully good news is around the corner. Hang in there !

I'll tell you what has changed... Last year's optimistic CEO never sold a share. This year's CEO and company consistently sell shares. Shareholders need more information. Too much silence and insider selling. It makes for too easy for the shorts to attack.

I'm not so smart - or is it clairvoyant - to figure any odds of what will happen next. Since I am employing a longer-term strategy, I consider the current price to be a strong buy. Once each month I accumulate more shares. If pps drops I'll simply continue to buy on the way down.
I don't expect anything to happened prior to Sanofi's next earnings CC where hopefully we will finally get some accurate sales numbers. Even then it will be too early for Sanofi to give any sales forecast, I think.
Pipeline news is likely to be the only surprise that could spark a rally. IMHO

I like the idea of accumulating shares during times of negativity, but have done that since 2008, so I think I'm done unless there is a severe sell off. Lately I've looked back and slammed myself for not selling some at 10-11 and getting to a zero cost basis at a minimum. Negative pps performance over an extended period of time compounded with the silence of MNKD mgmt induce a psychologic stress and a self-belittling. 'Maybe we're right but too early'; "Maybe the shorts have to win before we can win" I think often. A degree in psychology would seem appropriate at this juncture, or possibly a subscription to the latest Psychology magazine.
I'm focusing on the bond conversion in Aug, Euro/UK approval, Shareholder meeting and social media to provide some positive energy and stamina going forward. A white swan event from JDRF or major medical institution would be nice.
Watching Cramer on CNBC talk about the GS downgrade was one of the most corrupt and manipulative things I've ever seen with any investment I've owned: and since that day, the pps has been under immense negative pressure, reaffirming the power and ego of the ever so corrupt Stock Mechanics.
IMHO we are witnessing corruption and manipulation on a major level. What can't last (massive short position) will end: the PK profile will trump.

I've been using the term "psychological warfare" quite a bit over the last year, much less so since extending into leaps rather than shorter term options...the s/p I can live with on my shares as I've put those into "Rip Van Winkle" mode and welcome every opportunity on those "severe" sell offs. The "white unicorn" event I would love to see is an out of left field bunch of insider buying, that would definitely light a fire to that 90 million tons of kindling IMO. However, I do take pleasure in knowing that they at least have to pay usury interest rates to keep those borrowed shares at bay

Didn't know where to post this but this tread seems as depressing as any other on here... Came back from a few day road trip. Wasn't overly concerned about our price dip today but after reading this board for 30 minutes: wow I'm now officially depressed...
Thanks...

I have only been in this game for the last couple of years and on this board the past few months. Most of you have been in much longer. I try to focus on what I think are the facts and not all the noise and there is tons of noise. It is hard when you are down in the high five figures and getting close to six. It does make me sick somethings and we all have been through this before.
I am very strong on Mannkind and will keep buying more.
So here is what I think is positive, the positive things I have seen this month or so:
NRx 60.5% Growth Month to Month TRx 78.4% Growth Month to Month
Someone bought 500,000 shares @ 16:03 for $ 5.13 today (4/6/2015)
Social Media is strong:
WGEM News Report on Afrezza with Tri Area doctor and 18 y/o pt. youtubecom/watch?v=PefXkzTjugY&sns=em
