Some of this is more plans, so the denominator got bigger but the raw # covered didnt go up. Not necessarily a step backwards

Not necessarily a step backwards Fug, I guess this goes more what you are saying about more plans? in Texas they changed number of plans from 343 to 370. not sure what to make of it. I was hoping that we would get more green. hope it will change at 6-9 month after launch which would be August to November! June 12 Attachment DeletedToday Attachment Deleted

Very nice, thanks. Progress might be slow, but apparently in NY and CA there has been considerable progress. If you think about it (I might be getting into trouble here) those two states tend to have a population that is more wiling to embrace change. NY and CA are also leading indicators for national trends... Well at least I think they are, but could be wrong.

Maybe if Sanofi marketed Afrezza as the first true transgendered Insulin, we'd have more success.

Ok now that's funny! Hexomeric to monomeric should be covered at 150% as molecules have choices too, don't ask don't tell.

Great information Eddie. Thank you for sharing. If you want to track some other states with significant diabetic populations: AZ, IL, IN, MN, WI, KY, TN, OH, PA, MA, GA, NC and FL should cover the brunt of it. With the biggies you already have: NY, NJ you should be good to go.

I just scanned through the list to see who is covering Afrezza at Tier 2 without restriction. Oh the irony...
From Formulary Lookup:
Plan Pfizer, Inc
Payer/PBM CVS Caremark R...
Channel Commerc...
St NY
Plan Type Employer
Raw Status Tier 2
Restrict. -
Univ. Status Preferred
----
Perhaps these pharmaceutical companies have an unwritten agreement to cover each others' drugs?
