I actually laughed out loud when I saw the picture they used for the article. No wonder it is taking so long for Afrezza to gain traction. It takes a long long time to educate people in anything.

Good find! This is an excellent endorsement in spite of the short comings. The Cleveland Clinic is a well respected institution. Every little bit helps get the word out.

Not to get over excited but this is gold
If the Cleveland Clinics starts using Afrezza just for a fraction of it's patients with type 1 and type 2 we will very happy.
Yes!!!

Has anyone emailed them re : the pic of what looks to be an Asthma inhaler ? If I can find the contact email , I'll try it from my IPAD , and include the correct pic of the Dreamboat to make it easier for them . But I don't want to address it if someone else already has . The Cleveland Clinic has a great reputation & I'd assume that they'd want this corrected . But what do I know ,)
Edit : I just emailed them and attached a Dreamboat pic . I figured it's worth a try .

It is highly unlikely the practitioners at the Cleveland Clinic will be some of the first to adopt Afrezza. Many of the practitioners there are dinosaurs and their advice to patients is super conservative and plagued with medical dogma. It is a VERY conservative health organization. Who killed the Coronary Artery Calcium Scan in lieu of the medieval stint....?

Who killed the Coronary Artery Calcium Scan in lieu of the medieval stint....? While very conservative, you should probably check out their new crop of Fellows of Cardiovascular Medicine. I don't think CC would be bringing in many advocates of TAVR if CC was still stuck in the dinosaur age. I do agree that these CC practitioners will probably not be leading the charge for Afrezza, but that's why I find this posting so powerful! What's going on at CC where someone could get away with this under the CC banner? Hmmmm....

I called the switchboard at the Stephanie Tubbs Jones Health Center & left a voicemail for Sue Cotey with praise on publishing her positive, yet 100% truthful, article. I mentioned that diabetics worldwide deserve the chance for a better life on-the-go with rapid-acting discreet inhalable insulin. I left my phone number and name just in case she wanted to reply and touch base. I did not admit nor sound like a shareholder when I left the brief voicemail.
