I think Mannkind is only listed there in order to facilitate the conversion to TEVA stock. Where do you get the notion that dual listing would be required? I never said a dual listing would be required. Just that a listing in Tel Aviv would facilitate the transaction.

Just that a listing in Tel Aviv would facilitate the transaction..... Could facilitate a lot of transactions! Just about six hours until we see the early acceptance in Tel Aviv. It would be crazy not have a presence in Israel (or some other regional hub). The Afrezza needs to be stocked in many regional hubs globally for reasons too numerous to mention here, from govt requirements, to the usual supply chain. In a solid form, it's very stable under refrigeration unlike the liquid insulins.

I don't understand why that would facilitate anything. Prior to this both MNKD and TEVA stock were listed in U.S. In the beyond wishful thinking scenario that TEVA bought MNKD they would just swap the MNKD shares for TEVA shares and everyone that owned it would still be able to trade the day after as the day before, since all shares of MNKD were bought on a U.S. exchange and would still have access as TEVA shares. Now if MNKD were to buy TEVA I could see that you'd need to list MNKD on Israeli exchange so that people that held TEVA is Israeli brokerages would have access to markets when their shares converted to MNKD. One scenario is 99.99% not going to happen and the other 99.999%.

It's to take swings at these far fetched scenarios and have one connect

patryn... as I always say about the lottery, if I'm really lucky enough to win, I ought to be lucky enough to stumble across the winning ticket on the sidewalk. Hard to tell the difference in the odds. In the meantime, I'll keep plugging away at my small biz, hoping to make it a large biz.

Those are certainly wise words coming from a chameleon. Not that I doubt Jackson's IQs, we have quite a few in our backyard and although not the fastest guys around, they always seemed to be consumed in deep thought.

Just caught something a little interesting. Few days ago there was a thread regarding a small biotech NAVB also getting listed on TASE. mnkd.proboards.com/thread/3829/mnkd-navbPoking around for more insight (because I just can't wait 5 or so more hours), found another small biotech (BTX), possibly dual-listed on TASE the same day - September 8. Now - only 2 data points, with companies that are both biotechs, with low stock prices. Otherwise volume of trading, market cap, status of GTM, etc - not a lot in common. But what I do see: 1. Trend of biotechs getting dual-listed on TASE - now 2. In both cases, the stock price did rise sharply immediately following. In the case of BTX, trading in the upper 2's on COB Friday. Monday was Labor Day. The next day, Tuesday, active on TASE, the stock had jumped… 20%? In both cases, the climb went for a bit, and then the stock meandered back down, etc. Now again - 2 data points does not a trend make. But I thought I'd share this. You know. Things that make you go "hmmmmm….."

Maybe he and the crew are visiting SNY or they are ringing the opening bell!

WRT to conversation on biotechs in TASE, and potential "transaction", just found this article in Israeli business press. Note part about 'to facilitate a hostile takeover' example. Don't see this as a transaction setup for MNKD at this point, but anyway, not a crazy idea in general concept! Posted it to articles section, but for convenience, here it is too (In English): Mannkind Corp dual-lists on Tel Aviv Stock Exchange www.globes.co.il/en/article-mannkind-corp-dual-lists-on-tel-aviv-stock-exchange-1001075864

New ticker symbol: מנקד
Can someone post a link to a real time MNKD quote on the TASE?
I want to start getting up at 2am to check quotes instead of waiting until 0930 every day

I want to start getting up at 2am to check quotes instead of waiting until 0930 every day Just posted this on ST also. If you bring it up (in English) for BTX now, and then switch the security/company/symbol selection to MNKD when it starts, you'll get real time data, historical charts, etc etc. Its not up yet to select. Here is a direct link to the BTX page: www.tase.co.il/Eng/General/Company/Pages/companyMainData.aspx?ShareID=01136365&CompanyID=001651&subDataType=0&Just been taking the platform for a little test drive. Useful stuff there! Curious to see though, if the real time data will be posted in $US or not ...
