joeypotsandpans... Good to know. Does he have any info/speculation as to when we might see the first movement in formulary placement. I have no doubt that SNY is working on it. I just suspect it is turning out to be a very tough nut to crack. Who knew your 10 year inverted head and shoulders pattern was going to turn out to be this symmetric. Hopefully we don't spend a year down at these levels completing the shoulder. I am with my companys insurance who uses bxbs. This is what is shown as of today 11/12/2015 in the "prior auth" list. Does this mean that to even get prior auth you will need to wait till 2016? That is how I am reading this... Seems to me that this is good news. Needing prior authorization is far better than no coverage at all. I take three prescription drugs and my CVS/Caremark plan requires PA every year for two of them. My doc's office seems to have no trouble with the paperwork needed for approval.

ReplyQuote like Post Options Post by joeypotsandpans on 21 hours ago FYI..SNY rep I know stated they had best week to date regarding scripts, one physician who had been totally resistant also did his first script...said they are working diligently on the insurance...hopefully it gets extrapolated across the board and is reflected some nice #'s tomorrow to piggyback today's action Read more: mnkd.proboards.com/thread/4127/great-feedback-local-rep#ixzz3rNYkq5zzWell it looks like your SNY rep must have been referring to numbers in his/her sales territory. Because the numbers I just saw represent a two month low. Assuming these are accurate. NRx = 335 NRx $ = 177,000 TRx = 560 TRx $= 297,000 Nice work SNY - very nice indeed...total sarcasm here.

If his best week to date means he saw 10 scripts vs 7 from the week before, then I would discount his enthusiasm. Remember, sales people are trained to make you think your own funeral will be the best thing to happen to you in your life if it means they can sell you something.

Up from 304 & 509... I could be wrong? 304 & 509 were IMS. Is 335 and 560 IMS or Symphony?

The statement from the rep was made two evenings ago and was referencing this week which still had two business days left at the time. It was me referring to being hopeful of today's numbers. But since you registered to this board one month ago, let me refer you to the thread titled "it's NOT Sanofi" from back in July...it was the same rep at that time that exposed the insurance issue way before most others were talking about it. I trust this individual implicitly. Now a question for you, have you disclosed your position with regard to MNKD? You registered a month ago with over 100 posts to date, forgive me if you mentioned it in any of those but to be quite honest I haven't read a majority of them if you already disclosed your status. TIA

Joey, this is how I see it. I am sure your rep gave you good information and we should be seeing that on the 20th . My DD shows that there was about 198 reps working on Afrezza until the Vegas training in September. It is reported that there were about 350 reps at the training. It takes 60-90 days to get an RX filed so we should be seeing better numbers this month and in December. Thanks for posting!

Do you need one by any chance? I can still get you an awesome deal on one.
