Thanks Patryn for starting this nice positive thread to begin the U.S. Thanksgiving Holiday. You have reminded us how very, very fortunate we are to be in a position to be concerned (sometimes obsessed) with the developments of a fledgling pharmaceutical and biotech company. There is much adversity in the world these days. We see it vividly in the European Union, but it also exists in every corner of the U.S.
Those of us with assets to invest are indeed fortunate. For most, it is not so. I appreciate the great moderators, and the many, sincere and kind-hearted posters on this board who provide daily insights that help me stay informed and focused. I think we are all thankful for Al Mann, an entrepreneur who reminds us that success is best measured, not by the valuation of his companies, but by focusing on actions that benefit others.
Happy Thanksgiving Everyone! Chris c

I am thankful for many things. As far as pertaining specifically to here I am thankful we live in a country where there are opportunities like this forum where we can exchange ideas opposing or likewise without the fear of punishment or censorship and I am thankful for the great people that keep this site running and deal with us crazies on a daily basis. I am also thankful to the people who take the time to respond to my posts :-)
Happy Thanksgiving.

I am thankful for God's blessings of family, friends, health, full belly, warm dry bed and living in a country that allows us to communicate to each other like this. Happy Thanksgiving

Perhaps some of you may remember this. One year ago today, my nephew's 2-year old daughter had her face half torn off in a dog attack.
The anniversary reminds me of how grateful I am for this nation's dedicated doctors and nurses. The little girl spent over a 3 weeks in a medically induced coma with leeches attached to her face to thin the blood and prevent large sections of facial tissue from dying. The nurses truly helped the family to endure in so many ways. I am thankful for them more than I can express.
I am thankful for strangers when they pray for other strangers, as many of you did when I made the request a year ago. Today Olivia is her normal self and getting three time outs a day (chuckle) as she is one stubborn little girl. There will be more reconstructive surgeries as she grows up, but we feel so blessed for where she is today. I am thankful for the many prayers and encouraging words.
Speaking of cute kids...
Yesterday we had two inches of snow here where I live in Minnesota. When my kids and grandkids began to arrive for our family Thanksgiving feast, I noticed that one of my grand daughters had her boots on backwards, so I grinned and said, "Sweetie, you've put your new snow boots on backwards" to which the 5-year old simply crossed one foot over the other and said, "There, papa they're okay now!"
Happy Thanksgiving, everyone.
