I bought the last for this year (I think) during the TASE debacle. So, while I would LOVE to take this opportunit to buy more, it is currently not possible for me either. And yes, I am deep in the red with 1000s of shares now in the area of $3.83 each. And, I'll have thousands more when my puts will come due in January and I'll own thousands more at $4.50 or $5.00 each. Am I worried...no. I'm not selling and MNKD is not going bankrupt (despite all the FUDsters inhabiting this board) so this current loss is not set in stone. One of the things I like about this board is the ability to block FUDsters which I have been doing diligently over the last several weeks. I have grown weary of endless debate over points I have long ago decided upon one way or another. Therefore, blocking has saved me a considerable amount of time. I can still learn from posters such as yourself and others. And, I still have time for the old guard, the personalities who originally brought me to this forum in the first place. My new purchases are not always going to be large as there will still be an ebb of flow of capital into my endeavors. But, the point of making some sort of a purchase while the s/p drops is important to me in consideration of all the issues of which I listed these five. I am in this for the long term. I believe that the company will survive this awkward period and that Afrezza will be embraced eventually by a significant population of diabetics. What my due diligence has discovered has not changed. If I am wrong then I am wrong in support of a great cause, a great man and mentor, and a great endeavor. But, if I am correct, then I am correct in support of a great cause, a great man and mentor, and a great endeavor. Glad you are here with me. Count me in Rob, I bought another 1000 shares today !! Proud to be part of the "head in the sand" group. It won't be long before MNKD and Sanofi squash the fudsters theories again, then hopefully all those incredibly smart investors will move on to bash elsewhere. Good luck to all longs

Rob, why do you use another Rob Sacher's avatar as your own? It seems a little deceptive, but perhaps that is just me. (I'm assuming you are the same Rob Sacher as on SeekingAlpha. So either here or there you are deceptively fronting.) You'll have to explain why you think this is deceptive. Rob has let us all know he is the same person on seeking alpha, even pursuing links to his entries there. As far as I can see, no deception. What is you game? No game, as I said he is using another Rob Sacher's avatar. He fooled me into thinking a famous night club owner and author by the name of Rob Sacher was supporting MNKD. So how on earth do you think that is NOT deceptive? What is YOUR game that you support deception?

The only time I see any of this FUD anymore, is if a legitimate poster responds to the BS. It's unbelievable how many threads have an entire series of hidden posts (some polls too!). GLTLs!

Here is a sixth reason to buy MNKD.
Source: www.fda.gov/scienceresearch/specialtopics/pediatrictherapeuticsresearch/ucm420069.htm
"Diabetes complications in children and adolescents may be evident as early as 2 years after diagnosis. Data from the Treatment Options for type 2 Diabetes in Adolescents and Youth (TODAY) study suggest almost half of children and adolescents with T2D in the U.S. have suboptimal glycemic control after 4–5 years of treatment with metformin monotherapy and that hypertension, dyslipidemia, and early microvascular complications (e.g., nephropathy and retinopathy) are highly prevalent in these patients. There is therefore a need to make additional safe and effective treatment options available to youths with T2D."
I am one of those fathers who had to hold down his own daughter in order for her to get injected with the necessary childhood inoculations. She would literally go insane with fear and fight as if her very life depended on it.
I think it would be a mistake for investors to overlook the long-term pediatric market for inhalable insulin.
NOTE: Recruitment is currently under way for the post-marketing Afrezza pediatric trial.

I bet the participants really like afrezza.
Primary Objective: -To assess the safety and tolerability of Afrezza in children ages 4 to 17 years with type 1 diabetes mellitus (T1DM). Secondary Objectives: •To assess the ability to titrate the prandial and supplemental doses of Afrezza at each meal. •To assess pharmacokinetics (PK) following a prandial dose of Afrezza in children ages 4 to 17 years with T1DM.
I bet all 46 of them extend. The patients are expected to participate in the study for approximately 6 to 8 weeks from Screening to final follow-up visit. Patients who completed 4 weeks of Afrezza treatment and have shown to be safe and well controlled with Afrezza + basal insulin will have the option to continue the extension treatment up to 1 year.

@suebee
Discounting all of this, mnkd probably worth about a $1 a share. If SNY bails, mnkd equity is worth nominal value. I don't any compelling reason to buy at this point given SNY's actions. Thank you "Chuck", who only registered in October for spreading more FUD.
No doubt about it. That was easy to spot. Hmmm who called for a 1.00 target? One thing I will say though...is if Al and SNY allow this to get to 1.00 that is inexcusable. SNY could take their allowed 5% stake in the CO at this pps and put all doubt to rest permanently.

Oh yes, kids learn so quickly and hate needles. I sure did. On the German MNKD discussion one sharp but cynical poster believes that the pediatric Afrezza is what Sanofi is really after: mnkd.proboards.com/thread/4334/social-media-mnkd-discussion-germany(that does not make much sense to me, why would Sanofi exclude adults from their target population? Because kids don't have COPD or smoke?? Amazing how many conspiracy theories there are regarding this partnership). Of course, Afrezza use beginning during childhood might continue throughout their entire lives (until a better therapy, or a cure, is found). Now that would make sense long term.
