Beat their deadline of mid March to confirm. One question out of the way...

If you go to this site, there is a hyperlink for tuning into the webcast of the meeting - need to wait until 2 days before the meeting. www.fda.gov/AdvisoryCommittees/Calendar/ucm386716.htm "Webcast Information CDER plans to provide a free of charge, live webcast of the April 1, 2014, meeting of the Endocrinologic and Metabolic Drugs Advisory Committee. While CDER is working to make webcasts available to the public for all advisory committee meetings held at the White Oak campus, there are instances where the webcast transmission is not successful; staff will work to re-establish the transmission as soon as possible. Further information regarding the webcast, including the web address for the webcast, will be made available at least 2 days in advance of the meeting at the following website: 2014 Meeting Materials, Endocrinologic and Metabolic Drugs Advisory Committee CDER plans to post archived webcasts after the meeting, however, in cases where transmission was not successful, archived webcasts will not be available."

Thanks, Liane, sounds cheaper, if not nearly as much fun, as heading to Maryland. Among the things we don't want to hear during the Webcast, "Will the Sargeant at Arms please restrain Dr. Mann."

I just wanted everyone to know that there should be a free portal to the webcast. It has been posted elsewhere that there are sites charging > $100 to listen to the proceedings. Wish I could go to the meeting as well.

Wish I could go to the meeting as well. Thanks Liane. Someone should post a link to some of the sites that will host the AdComm. I'll pay if needed so I can watch it (will be in Vegas at a conference watching it from my hotel room LOL)

nemzter, In my prior post is a link to fda: www.fda.gov/AdvisoryCommittees/Calendar/ucm386716.htmThis is not the actual link to the webcast, but if you click on it ~2 days before the adcom, there will be a link posted on it to take you to the adcom webcast. Confusing - isn't it. That's the government for you. So nobody should have to pay. Geez, with the interest in this stock, you would think the government could reduce the national debt by a billion or two by charging a pay per view fee.

So - what I'm hearing on the YMB is that since the Adcom is at the Marriott, and not the White Oaks campus, there will be no free webcast. One site that should webcast it (you have to pay) is FDAlive. There may be others.

Someone on YMB has offered to live-blog the event and provide free access via an RSS feed.

I think it was user "matese". Don't know how RSS works, but I'm willing to learn.

Liane, yes you are correct. I was just on the FDA site and because the Ad Com is not being held at White Oaks, there will be no free webcast. They revised the previously posted info/docs with an amendment that updated this information recently.
