Have to say it was shocking the new CEO wasnt on the call.
On call Matt said they havent closed books but will end year with 59-60MM in cash + have 30MM under Mann line.
I seem to recall their burn rate being 8-9MM month, so they have until November.
He also implied they would be further reducing costs.

"Al.........AL!!! (/assistant//shakes///side of body lightly from bed) Remember that game changing company with the best insulin solution for type 1 & type 2 diabetic leading normal lives on the go? It's time to tell the community you aren't the only one on life support." LONG & PISSED OFF MY INVESTMENT IS GONE FOR GOOD. Here I thought MannKind's Technosphere could have changed the world. Damn was I wrong. Screw you management for depriving diabetics and jeopardizing advancements in modern medicine. Both Afrezza and Technosphere are viable, TS still in early development with products - that's not even out of the gate yet. They are now free to contract with one or more companies to sell Afrezza, here and worldwide. Heck, somebody suggested they sell direct to users online (I'm sure the FDA might have something to say about that.)

they found out yesterday. BUT, it was clear to them this summer; changes had to be made and he stated, pricing. it sounded like they looked at the problem.
As far as plan, the plan to try to market Afrezza and TS. Did he use the phrase "turn the ship"?

So tell me, optimists out there, we all agree sanofi did nothing of worth in marketing the drug and too many physicians/patients still have no idea about it. Who pays for marketing or a sales force now?

Did he say no liability to SNY or is MNKD still on the hook for 35% of product losses?

He did say they would be broadcasting both the JP Morgan conference and the after meeting, taking questions in both places.

My late in-laws lived for a time in Herring Cove Nova Scotia, high above the harbor (or harbour, for you Canadians/Brits). Quite the spectacle to see the QEII make the turn-around in that small space. If she can do it, I expect MNKD can too.

while sny still selling the product, they will still split costs/revenue.
But loan agreement (which is how mnkd is covering their 35% share of expenses) is now pushed back to 2024, and fwiw think they can recognize milestones (don't think that detail matters much, but not sure).

I wonder if they can still use the SNY loan to apply against product costs (losses)?

off topic; for the first time the idea of afrezza diabetic clinics might be away to market Afrezza. I am not a business person. Hire 1 physician in each of the 50 states to run and practitioners, nursing, office, spirometry. Diabetes the speciality. Priced right and insured. I am not a business person. enough physicians could get together and mastermind this. Crazy talk?
