How many people that are on Afrezza now found out about it from their Doctor? I am saying that out of experience . Afrezza has a working alternative in the market which is injectable insulin , the difference between the two is patients conveinience, that is why the demand should start from the patient . If the Hb A1c level is normal the doctor will not change treatment plan unless patient complains about the multiple injections

Metformin & Glypizyde were all our gp cared about. Didn't know about Afrezza pre us. Metformin will always be the first option as it is very effective, a single dose, and almost free. Glipizide on the other hand is the invention of the devil, there are a lot of better alternatives today. It's sole virtue is that it is cheap.

Both at once I think. But we have neither. The GP's have just now heard about Afrezza. The reps have done nothing in my town except just last month drop off flyers. The 25 or so T2's I have talked to are on Metformin. And their doc's haven't talked to them about anything else. But they are asking their doc's for the drug that let's them pee out sugar. I asked all of them where they heard about it. And everyone said TV. Metformin & Glypizyde were all our gp cared about. Didn't know about Afrezza pre us. What does your doc say now that your hubby has had good results with Afrezza, or has he had a chance to see the results yet? Sorry for the question if you have answered it before, there are so many posts these days it is tough to get through them all.....thanks!

Kaiser is not allowed to even suggest anything is not on their formulary. We changed insurance companies as of 1/1 and haven't seen our new doctors yet.
