This is from, of all places, an article by Feuerstein. Note that Traci Carman has had a prior business relationship with Paul Allen. Here is the relevant excerpt. (No need to give AF more clicks if you don't want to.) www.thestreet.com/story/13434585/2/biotech-string-editas-ipo-terms-rooting-for-shkreli-in-dc.html" Traci Carman is listed as the Receptor Life president, secretary, treasurer and director, according to a registration filing with the Washington Secretary of State. The company's address listed in the filing appears to be a residence in northwest Seattle, according to Google Maps. Gregory Wesner, an attorney with the Seattle law firm Lane Powell, is also listed as a director of Receptor Life in the registration filing.Little is known about Carman's business background. A quick Google search shows a "Traci Carman" employed in 2012 as the chief financial officer of Experience Music Project Museum, a Seattle museum focused on music, science fiction and popular culture. The museum was started by Microsoft co-founder Paul Allen."

Ok, so let's all agree it is a Paul Allen and a few other really well off investors. If we can figure it out so can Wall Street and by the looks of it the Steet doesn't care. But how does that help Mannkind at all at this point knowing who RLS is possibly controlled by? I am much more interested in how Mannkind is going to undue all the negativity surrounding itself and Afrezza and get Afrezza into the hands of those who could really use it. That's a story I am patiently waiting Mannkind to relay to its investors who have been destroyed.

Here is the link to the registration of Receptor Life Sciences, Inc from the Washington Secretary of State's office:

EMP Museum is a nonprofit museum, dedicated to contemporary popular culture. EMP Museum was founded by Microsoft co-founder Paul Allen in 2000. Traci Carman, who is listed (temporarily?) on the Receptor Life Sciences filing as President,Secretary,Treasurer,Director, is currently the CFO of the Seattle museum that was founded by Allen.
Being CFO does not prove 100% there is a direct connection between the Carman & Allen, however.

Not that it matters but, personally, I think it is a stretch to assume that Paul Allen is automatically involved from the evidence so far.

He may have donated to every museum in Seattle. Just because she was CFO doesn't mean she's buddies with him. I fully agree about the rest of your post. The one key thing we know about the RLS is regardless of whether it is Paul Allen, Howard Schultz or an entirely unknown Seattlite backing it, the first payment to MNKD is likely to be small compared to the annual burn rate and probably not soon enough to alleviate the perceived need to raise capital in the markets this year.

Both Allen and Carman are listed as Directors for ELC dDevelopment as well, pretty safe to assume they know each other... Also, Wesner is listed as pro-bono council for EMP...

Its positive news for MNKD if they are truly interested. Right?

Traci Carman is also listed on the business filing for Tracore Holdings LLC, registered in 2015 in the state of Washington and is listed as President, Finance Executive and CFO of three other organizations as well, although I cannot say whether she remains active at all of them...

Both Allen and Carman are listed as Directors for ELC dDevelopment as well, pretty safe to assume they know each other... That's probably safe assumption. But even if Allen, or people in his sphere are backers, it doesn't change the fact that this deal is at best a small piece of the solvency puzzle for MNKD. Undoubtedly RLS has written in protections for themselves in case MNKD does hit insolvency. That said, if these indeed are seasoned investors with track record in pharma/biotech, this may lend some credibility to TS platform and remove the FUD talking point that RLS may be some kind of illusion. But it is still likely to be assumed an arms length transaction rather than implying these same seasoned investors are about ride to the rescue for MNKD.

Strange for AF to link the two. I have no doubt Wall Street knew this and the market has no reacted so what does that tell you It tells you there is nothing to react to. An entity has struck an agreement with Mannkind to develop a drug. The information everyone want is the terms and those are nowhere to be seen. Without the terms this gets ignored because nobody can make a judgement on it's significance. It's a premature announcement to show they are doing something rather than waiting until they could show terms and make a real impact.

Its positive news for MNKD if they are truly interested. Right? The problem you're having is that you've been listening to the conspiracy crazies about Adam F. He's not point man for some massive conspiracy against MannKind. With Sanofi's help, MannKind has been wrecking itself for the last year. They don't need any help. Adam's motivations are not pretty, but they're not conspiracy. Adam F wants people to think he's clever. In this case, he took the research being posted on these boards and published it as if he had discovered it himself. Look what he found, that clever biotech sleuth Adam F! Don't give him more credit than he deserves.
