Hilarious that people on here think we're too 'serious' to deal with an innocent question about spirometry, or that it must be a malicious attempt to sink MNKD sp (possibly coordinated by those devilish hedge funds and their evil leader Adam F). Any sort of inane nonsense can be posted here and it will be gobbled up by us as long as it confirms our get-rich-quick thesis on MNKD. Lakers, Sacher, Kastanes, the Sanofi-plan-is-so-brilliant-it-makes-me-want-to-cry boy, they still get taken seriously here and nobody gets on their cases. But ask any sort of question that upsets the delicate flower of blind faith and all the furies get their panties in a twist. If you want to live in a bubble where no one asks questions, you're the one who should stay off this board. This is not a bloody booster club, it's a place to share information about an investment, good or bad, because we need both. There's a good chance we're all going to have to bail on this one (or go down with the ship) so I for one sure hope that ANY question and/or criticism about MNKD can be entertained here so we don't lose absolutely everything.

This stock is not going to $50? WHAT? This is a joke guys. I understand the frustration, but ganging up on the new guy isn't the answer. If the question was that bad, ignore and move on. Of course, I still like the Juergan response from the other day. There have been a few others this week like that. Patten- ask all the questions you want. This is board is for the exchange and information of ideas- long and short.

(That said, there was a typo in my posting, so we all make mistakes.)

I got hammered on this post from the beginning! I have 10k shares @73 cents. I want this company to do well!

If you want the company to do well, why would you advocate violating federal regulations re: marketing. Beyond fines, the impact it would have on any MNKD decisions before the FDA is indescribable.

My boss talked about needing a spiro test.
So he could use a face mask for a breathing condition. No biggie. Not sure what all the hoo-hah is about spirometry.

(That said, there was a typo in my posting, so we all make mistakes.) OD- I absolutely understand the frustration. And I do appreciate the sentiment. I also understand why some others would feel the same. I get it. Someone earlier brought up an FAQ section. Maybe not a bad idea. With the PPS this low, we may have a lot more people jumping in to take a flyer, so there may be more questions/ threads like this. Maybe a locked section of the board MNKD- the basics you need to know (or something to that effect). Reading the board is not the same as due diligence, but I can think of a lot worse places to go and get information.

There's a good chance we're all going to have to bail on this one (or go down with the ship) so I for one sure hope that ANY question and/or criticism about MNKD can be entertained here so we don't lose absolutely everything. It wasn't so much the question. From my point of view there were 2 reasons. 1. Because it was bound to turn into a dumb ass 3 page thread about nothing, which it has and also it was the absurdity of not knowing something as simple as that BEFORE investing in this co. which could have easily been found on here with the search button and has been rehashed here a million times. If he/she came on here and said hey I'm thinking about investing in MNKD can you tell me about the spirometry issue/requirements I can guarantee some of the responses would have been different. To me a FAQ on here would be great for people to look at before they invest. But hey as far as the OP to each his own, it's not my $ I'm sure his/her avg is a lot lower than most on here so it really doesn't matter he/she is doing something right. A little paranoia on here on all sides though. I've seen Lakers get bashed repeatedly here lately so it seems not everyone is taking Lakers seriously (I enjoy reading his post) and no-people do get on Lakers case. Just because people wanted this thread locked doesn't mean they were thinking the question was a malicious attempt at whatever or that someone is living in a bubble or the blind faith. Not that I give two sh*ts what anyone thinks but to prove a point if you look at some of my previous post I am for them selling because I am not confident in management so sometimes the motive of wanting a thread lock is as "innocent" as the motive of the original question. Oh and at this point no questions, criticism, praise is going to stop us from possibly "losing absolutely everything" or gaining everything. No-one has a clue what is going to happen with this stock. My advice to the OP, set a Stop-Loss and live by it.

If any of us did the right due diligence on MNKD we'd be short. I wish I was in patterns shoes who is obviously new to MNKD and not underwater 75% like I am. I'd rather not know about spirometry then be down 75% ? Definately one of your best posts.

Rhetorical question. I do not want to know the answer. More of the same since the brain trust solicited Desisto under an employment contract.

I'd rather not know about spirometry then be down 75% ? Reverselo - If I had the kind of access to the type of information for the 'right' due diligence to know that e.g., Viebacher would be ousted by the board right after MNKD partnership, and SNY would then sink and ditch this, followed by a HF short interest capable of sinking stock price just prior to a previously otherwise undisclosed/unplanned TASE offering .... I certainly wouldn't be counting my pennies here in either direction. Otherwise, if I had a crystal ball, I certainly would not have hung myself (and my family's future) by buying at highest point. But neither would I ever short a company working on a humanitarian effort. Plenty of cigarette and coal companies still out there. I will never go against GSCO again. I remember reading seeking alpha comments when GSCO down graded just as we were getting started. a share holder experienced this on another stock. He immediately sold his shares and would watch from the sideline. I totally understand why he did this and I will do the same. Everyone should learn a valuable lesson from this stock. We don't know shit in comparison to smart money. The short interest is there by some tuttes simply because they knew the challenges MNKD face. Then there are others that are playing games. I think this is where many get confused the level of research that goes into shorting. Shorting is healthy for the market and imp needed. It just sucks if you own a stock that's over valued when the attack starts. It sucks I was warned about Tase but didn't listen. I blame Mnkd lawyers for not having a clause in the contracts to scrap the relationship if upper management changed.

One must be covering this. But, had you purchased your shares after the management change, who is to blame?

This stock is not going to $50? WHAT? It still is. Not today. Not tomorrow. Not this year. If you have the cajones to hold for five years, you will see it. Maybe it will be in licences sold off or Afrezza sale, or all of the above.
