factspls88 , Not anywhere near being a competitor, and may never be. The Dance product is a nebulizer - so far less convenient to use than a Dreamboat. Also, tiny company, and a long way from potential approval. I also think he is looking for capital for his company

Afrezza will not end up like Exubera did... not if a "REAL" investigative reporter reveals to true Sanofi story. Who or whatever reporter that steps up to plate shall make a huge success in their reporting and make a name for themselves that everyone can "TRUST." The 2nd part of the investigative story could be how the Hedge Funds/Shorts had information regarding Sanofi's sandbagging.

The investigative reporter should start the investigation the day MNKD trade 120 million + shares and work to present day.

Being in this stock has painfully made me aware how fruitful their efforts are. I cant imagine how many Dr's they spoke with at the top of the food chain in endocronoligy and presented Afrezza with its label. Would you prescribe given America is (Got this from Matt) a litigious society. No way.

The shorts banked far to much exuberance and faith to be short a 124 million shares.

SNY barfing publicly and putting Afrezza down. Even if their claims were remotely true, doesn't that speak volumes about their poor judgement? If you thought so poorly about the drug then whey the hell did you partner up?
Bottom feeder sandbaggers!

I know so many of you think the group who killed JFK is behind destorying Afrezza It was not 124 million over night. It grew and grew and grew. Those initial shorts right at FDA approval. Those get the keys to the city. These guys that piled on afterwards are the ones using social media to roll their shrort and then retail jumped in too

OK - enough politics or this will get locked. I will say this from an analysis perspective - if you put together comments in past year by: 1. Yellen 2. Clinton, and now 3. Sanders One thing is for sure, there is a politician interest in the topic at moment. Which usually reflects something afoot within the political base or interests. It will be interesting to see with Shrek also in the news (the new Madoff?), whether this becomes a trendy election topic. And if so, what impact that may have on IBB, and our Little Engine that Could ...

It will be interesting to see with Shrek also in the news (the new Madoff?), whether this becomes a trendy election topic. Unlike Madoff, Shkreli succeeded, paid off his investors, and the end result was a new company with a market cap of some hundreds of millions. www.bloombergview.com/articles/2015-12-17/martin-shkreli-accused-of-being-surprisingly-good-at-fraud"Shkreli seems to have gambled on redemption and won. If you believe the allegations in today's indictment, he lost (or stole) all of his investors' money, then lied to them to string them along, Ponzied it up by raising new money to keep them happy, and then finally found an investment that allowed him to pay off his earlier investors, with profits all around. He wasn't caught because his scheme, like most such schemes, eventually crashed under its own weight. His scheme worked!"
