Thank you for bringing this to our attention. If you provide the pharmacy name via email at Freedom@mannkindcorp.com we can ensure there are no issues. Cardinal has been shipping product this week and were the first wholesaler to ship Afrezza. They may have looked up the old Sanofi NDC for Afrezza which is not available. I'm sure I speak for about 99% of the Board members in saying: "warmest of welcomes, thank you and the entire MNKD team for all you do, and the very best of good fortune moving forward."I am a Type 2 diabetic. I have bought seven boxes of Afrezza at my own expense. It is clearly the best and fastest mealtime insulin I have ever used. No contest. And for Type 1's the case for Afrezza is even stronger. My personal belief is that soon it should be the Gold Standard for them. I'm two years from Medicare, so my selfish interest has me hoping that by then Afrezza will be covered for me when I reach that point. Thank you again, good luck and God bless. Do you not have insurance or they denied it? If you have insurance let's get you to try our reimbursement center to see if they can help.

Will my Endo friend be able to get 12 Unit samples for his PATIENTS? He has always mentioned this dose being in high demand in his clinic.
Also, I want to know if the Afrezza package label will get any new changes in 2016?

Did your endo friend meet the area rep yet to directly request? last I heard new sample packs be available at the end of august?

My endo friend is planning to meet area rep end of August. I'm assuming sample packs will be available then.

My insurance has denied it, even after my doctor went to the trouble of the prior authorization route. I am able to afford to buy enough for the time being. I'm following a very, very low carb diet and luckily for me (financially) I really only need to lower my blood glucose with mealtime insulin in the morning. The dreaded Dawn Phenomenon. Other than the morning hours, my blood sugar is in very good control. Still, Afrezza works beautifully for me. Through trial and error I find it works best for me to inhale it 12 minutes AFTER I begin to eat. (I got that tip from Al Mann himself. He said it at some conference or something.) It works within an hour for me. A 30 to 60 minute walk after inhaling enhances its effectiveness for me. Again, thanks to you and everyone at MannKind.

During Sanofi days or in 2016 transition? Mannkind cares starts August 1st. Time to try again with Mannkind.. Nothing to lose. May be Mike whips out his magic wand

I'm sure you noted, but just in case you not, take a look to michaelcastagna (he wrotes a reply to you). He is the man in charge at MNKD relaunch. Beside, starting tomorrow the new program to help people having troubles with afrezza and insurance. Just write them an email. We understand you are in a good financial position, but why give up when you accomplished with all the steps? If MNKD can help to get your money back, well, buy some shares or donate it for a good cause or help someone else. Not to be naif, but do it forward works......

During an unrelated visit to a local pharmacy yesterday, I asked the pharmacy clerk about the availability of Afrezza. She readily found it in their computer system, but said it is unavailable through their distributer, which was indicated to be Cardinal. This pharmacy is integral to a major, nationwide grocery retailer. Frankly, I have some real concerns that the execution of the roll-out of Afrezza 2.0 is not going as planned. The best sales team on the planet cannot be successful if pharmacies cannot even obtain the drug.Good thing you didn't need to dose with Afrezza, and this was an investigational outing.
My understanding is at these moments Afrezza branding has changed. The supply chain change.
Sam was able to get the mankind branded Afrezza. Good thing, as he is a type one.
I know what you mean though. I went to walgreens to get alka seltzer, Walgreens didn't have regular alka seltzer. They had gel caps and something else. ( But) No plop plop fizz fizz oh what a relief it is.....
What other investigations are you working on?
LMAO - I had the same Alka-Seltzer experience at Walgreens.
