akemp, can you clarify your statement on cartridge/inhaler issue. I never heard about it anywhere as of yet. Akemp didnt reply probably because he didnt make the statement in this thread, I did. This refers to my post on Friday here mnkd.proboards.com/thread/6247/twitter?page=1 which includes my comments on the issue and reference to the article in which it appears. Others on this thread have provided the details as well i.e regarding samples

Wow...just when you thought... Like they say, "s__t happens," but why did it take 20 months to realize there was such an issue?

If it makes a significant difference to the size of the pack I would lay money that they decided to do this to save refrigerator space. The fridge on the floor at the endocrinology department where I go is pretty small and that's part of a hospital. I can imagine the smaller a sample pack is the easier to get them to take some.
