Fellow Longs, today marks the day we should all face the facts...MannKind is done. Since August 2015 I believed (& bought; ultimately I've lost -$35k+) Afrezza/Technosphere could improve patients lives and change modern medicine. Unfortunately no amount of good news (the script uptrend, that supposed MLB advertising bullsh*t which will not happen, the stellar ADA+JDRF reviews, etc) can save this company. It is too little to late especially with the staggering & unrelenting short position. Liane can edit & delete posts hiding the scary truth: management squandered a golden opportunity, failed patients and screwed shareholders forever. Only a miracle like Novo Nordisk could save MannKind now and we all know that is not happening. This is a tragic damn shame how this story ended: PWD around the world will never discover the benefits of Afrezza. Big bio-pharma buried disruptive innovation and shorts have won. Ive read many of your posts and I always feel angst... in fact Id like to bring out my boxing gloves.... if you don't like it... get a movin...
How do you feel today?

Your price has gone from 10-15 to 15-20 in one thread. Thats an increased market cap of 2.5 billion.

KC while I often agree with you why would Mnkd consider selling at 15 to 20 pps? That would have to mean substantive progress is being made on all fronts and there is more to come... Just my opinion...

I'm very hopeful they get smart (BOD) before having to file a chapter 11 filing. $10 to $15 or $15 to $20. I think most would be happy to have that happen vs watching the company sold by creditors and the common stock holder gets nothing.
The only reason it has not happened is that the feel they can prove the valuation of a sale with script sales. Sadly that has not happened yet. Will it happen before they run out of cash or have to have further dilution?
MannMade I'm as bullish as they come and my glass is half empty. So hopefully there are things happening that we don't know about behind the scenes. I give credit to Matt and Mike for all that they have accomplished in a very short time frame. It's not Mikes fault that there is no cash. Our problems go back to the FDA issues in 2010 forward. The company was bled dry and then the Sanofi diabolical.
The need deep pockets to make some marketing moves and they don't have the funds to get the job done. They need a new owner like a Teva or some other big Pharma who wants into this space. They have a very good product in Afrezza. Somebody will take the plunge and buy MannKind.

How do you feel today? feeling just fine... I knew what I was getting into with this stock.. win or lose I'm good.. and I still believe in the people trying to save this company and the product.. think they made some mistakes with SNY .. but that is past .. everything ive seen with the management since has been positive.. there are no guarantees.. but I'm certainly not ready to say "game over" ... not yet.. and if I were so negative about it that I have to go on a rant on this board, I would have sold by now.. don't get into things you cant handle.. and not many want to hear someone yelling "game over" .. especially when it isn't yet..

I have been in some real stinkers over the years, and I've gone on plenty of rants and rages about those companies. But you know what they all had in common? They were run into the ground by garbage management and bologna prospectuses. Mnkd at least has a good product and a management team that has a semblance of a clue. Which is why I haven't sold. I'm just hoping they can figure it out before further dilution.
