People we are closer to going broke then ever. I guess I'm just not smart enough to understand all the hope and speculation still said on this board. Why are most people here ignoring the truth. No time or money left. It's almost game over unless there is a miracle. My one hope is before mnkd disappears there is just one flippin commercial on TV.

Well aren't we just sunshine and happiness this morning. I think most investors on this board are painfully aware that script sales are very low. There is tremendous risk with the current cash position of MannKind and its current cash burn rate. But you totally ignore the progress being made with word getting out through multiple venues, including social media, conferences and even JDRF walks like this weekend. MannKind is present at no less then 12 walks this weekend all over the country. Until the insurance coverage is better and Endos understand Afrezza better, TV commercials would be wasting that precious money you mention above. Your post reminds me so much of my many years following the Yahoo Message Board. The negativity there was very intentional. Is yours?

Or any with insurance reimbursement? If anything, insurance seems to be getting worse. Afrezza isn't even showing up on the medicare plan search page anymore. The one I found still had it as tier 4 but used the old NDC. Getting word out and walking until the cows come home home won't do much good if endos refuse to prescribe and if patients find the price tag is too high.

Yes centralcoast you got me I'm a paid basher I made 64 buckaroos last week bashing this cluncker. Whatever!!! How bout we create a new category neither pumper or basher. Just someone stuck in the never ending nightmare of owning this stock. I say we call it a NIMROD like my username. Investing in this company that is about to go out of business is the dumbest thing I have ever done. Yes the YMB is a complete joke and while I think this board is much better there is still a ton of delusional longs here. Sorry central I'm just disgruntled owning this stock for 6 plus years and constantly hearing non stop positive speculation that never ever comes into fruition.

How do you calculate that 10,000 trx is needed for break even? My calculation puts is closer to 4,000. I am basing that off of the $8-10 million per month burn rate that has been cited several times. I assume each script is about $600, which I calculated by averaging from the Symphony script data that we have. In other words, at about 4,000 trx per week, revenue would essentially equal cash burn. We have a long way to go to get to 4,000, but it is a lot closer than 10,000.
I do think that if we could get closer to about half that, financing options would be a lot more favorable.

^^nimrod you don't have to rehash the 👎 in every post of yours like you are doing some favors to us. We know the current situation and we can see the weekly scripts.
Why don't you comment on the exposure of Afrezza in the JDRF walks or the spirometer test in the booth and voucher for free titration packs or offer any ideas so people know what Afrezza is.

Getting word out and walking until the cows come home home won't do much good if endos refuse to prescribe and if patients find the price tag is too high. Pure FUD. In fact simply the opposite is true. Insurance is improving and spirometry is a non issue. My endo friend says all insurance is going thru. His staff sends patient information to mnkdcares and they take care of everything. Really easy on his part. In my opinion we need more patient awareness thru advertising and medical education conferences, etc. Still as Sports suggest, PWD still don't know about afrezza...yet!

Your right I guess I'm just too negative. Believe it or not no one hopes I'm wrong more than me. Nimrod be down 40 g's on this gamble. I really thought this would be the next Regeneron. I wonder if the people that owned Apple or Priceline when they were in the dumper felt like me HMMM. Maybe in 5 years i'll be saying wow I almost sold this when it was 60 cents. Hey holy moly I almost sounded positive.

I am truly amazed at all the progress Mike C. is having in getting the word out. He doesn't rely on just one campaign, he has multiple strategies designed to put Afrezza where PWDs can touch it, see it, learn about it...Now that the insurance road blocks are coming down, the next big thing is awareness! Who would have thought that the partnership with JDRF would have opened up this whole new fabulous way of getting in front of PWDs?

Nothing like being there:-)). I'm really pleased at the JDRF walks, that's a lot of walks and a lot of engaged PWD speaking to reps and doing spirometry or just getting to know and see the inhalers and afrezza. It's inexpensive direct marketing to many possible users and could not be better targeted. Well done Mike C for using that approach. We should see TRx rise in a few weeks as refills for the recent NRx start to be needed. We will all feel better when that starts.

Who would have thought that SNY could have been so ignorant to think it was not commercially viable, or that it wouldn't survive their oversight and/or deliberate beating. Let's see how quickly this ground swell fills the script void.
