Trx and refills are extremely frustrating, do you have ways to retain patients, since you already know , a lot of time is spent in getting a patient on Afrezza and losing them after so much effort spent cant be sustained.

Clarification: We are not "just now" seeing endos after 5 mos. Our targets generally consist of around 80% endos and 20% internal med/family practice. Only a small percentage of endos have "just been seen" recently due to access issues. Most endos have been seen regularly since day 1 of relaunch. I don't want to confuse the board. My point was it takes different amounts of time for different prescribers before you see the light bulb go on above their head and I do COMPLETELY understand the time issue with this relaunch. There is momentum building with Afrezza in the field. Trx and refills are extremely frustrating, but with the message of importance of titration I believe this will turn around. Thanks for the passion you all have for the Afrezza. Just by reading your messages I know you all are very well informed about the product. I can assure you the passion is equaled in the field! How many of those endos have the light bulb lighted now? I am not looking at the exact number, but trying to guage how many patients did those endo's rx Afrezza to? and even if the light bulb is on, are they putting pts on Afrezza. Of course its all individual , but that should give you ways to improve strategy.

How come Scripts does not increases faster? Anybody has a good answer? My questions: How many reps are getting in to see the doctors? Are they just dropping off samples? Are they calling ahead and asking for a hour of the doctors time in order to give a real presentation? Are they just sent to SNY old areas? What is the game plan? If they can't get in to see the doctors what's plan B? And what are they being trained to do exactly? I don't have a answer because I don't really have any info. I think its safe to say that MNKD needs serious help selling the product. They just ran through how much money to build how many scripts. Yes the SNY $$ is an extension but if they couldnt get anything done the past 4-5 months what makes the next 4-5 months any different? I just dont get it.

I just dont get it.its a sequential process and is time consuming. its a learning process. A doc may not prescribe the first day , but could in a time span of 5 months. as an ex:
