Matt is just being coy. Clearly, his intention is to start a Mannkind branded reality TV network featuring 24 hour Afrezza themed content. Anyone who says otherwise is so obviously a shorttt.

Wow - a true believer and bought at $19. Me too but I sold at $21. Investing in any company is a 4 legged stool. Knowing the; management; the product; the market; and the engineers. At that point in time I did not know management but I knew the engineers who were telling me how great this will be. The day of the Exubera scare it opened at about $2.90 and I had a much better understanding of the 4 legs and became a true believer. Right now we are dealing with a marketing problem on several fronts. The good news is CGM technology is making some of the issues very visible. One of my great finds as far as DD went was your posts on YMB. I thought I had hit pay dirt! I went back and read them all. (Someone who went way back and knew what has really happening!) Then later...Saxcmann, Rick, Judy, mnholdem, kc. You guys were my rock for along time until Afrezza came into the everyday life of my friends. I thank you all for that! And you're all still here:-))) Lets hope we get to the promised land as there is still a lot of work to do but afrezza is amazing. We have a world class award winning factory sitting idle and collecting dust. I now know Stefan Schwarz was right and as he said a different approach was needed. I had hoped Vdex would be part of that approach. I have no idea what the issue is. There is a viable business model there. If done properly it could be a showcase to bring endos to so they could see the future of diabetes care. The 6 month wait for the sales guys to see the endo would be a thing of the past as the endo would be coming to them wanting to learn more. Any idea what the plan is for the nurse educators which Matt mentioned at the presentation?

Here is what Matt said (from the transcript) about the reality TV show at the presentation: "We also have a TV series we are sponsoring later in the year. We are still negotiating some of the aspects of that, but we hope we will hopefully [have] more details to announce for essentially reality TV show based on diabetes that we will sponsor and I think Afrezza will be – I hope we will be figuring prominently in that." Just enough to whet appetites and fuel hopeful speculation!
true - Matt did up play vdex in Jan 2016 when sanofi dropped Afrezza saying 100's of locations and Afrezza prominently featured. May be better to keep expectations realistic. Not doubting you iam2, I just do not recall Matt saying there would be hundreds of VDEX locations. I recall an investor conference early last year where I believe it was Mike that displayed a chart showing that diabetes care centers would be targeted with Aftezza but that's all I can recall about MNKD discussing diabetes care centers. I don't ever remember them talking about VDEX. Can you please provide a link or say when and where Matt said there would be 100's of VDEX centers?

My idea for Vdex, at this time is for patients to be able to get a breathe text. Send it to Vdex. Use skype, and then Vdex mails the script to them. There are people all over the US that can't find doctors that will prescribe.

Send a breathe text to VDEX? I think they would have to have one if they were going to mail someone out of state a script right? Right now people have to fly to LA. The first Afrezza script my clients kids got was mailed to them from NY. So I know it can be done:-)

VDEX was overhyped with regards to MannKind and the impact on Afrezza script counts.
VDEX is a great idea, and it will help diabetes patients immensely. But VDEX expansion isn't going to happen rapidly enough to impact scripts for years.
If they opened locations every two weeks (hyper aggressive) it would take them 2 years to get to 100+ locations. That's not really practical considering they're likely still working out the bugs. If they opened 20 locations in the first year that would be amazing.
At this point the sales person highering likely has no impact on VDEX scripts. I'm sure VDEX has a direct line to a head honcho at MannKind (to answer any Qs). VDEX is important for the future, but not the present...
Personally, when looking at potential to drive up Afrezza scripts. I think CGM >>>>> VDEX Dexcom increasing the availability and lowering the out of pocket (to Diabetics) has huge near term (<2 years) potential to drive Afrezza scripts.

Something sure is strange alright When will this board wake up to the fact people have lost money here. Wow I bought in at $19 and sold at $12. I guess I am missing the point [probably directed at me.] VZ $29 > $54 CAT $79 > $94 MNKD $8 sold MNKD $.69 MNKD $2 avg give or take. I dislike this company b/c they are not transparent and I feel like they don't know what they are doing. ehmm. ------------

It is always 'stay tuned'. Wait. etc. Things do happen of significance with the business, but not for investors - other than perhaps more dilution. What I find remarkable is that even with all that, when I can't imagine the road can be that much farther (one way or the other) MNKD continues as a company, leaving open the potential of saving an investment. Unfortunately, I've only been on the ride through the long descent into Hades. For longs that were invested back during the days when the CRLs, etc were happening - they were at least able to also watch their investment increase in value at some point. Does that help or hurt more? Still waiting. I got nowhere else to go. It has been a long ride. The first shares I bought for $19. Then the first no from the FDA. I road the stock down to $7 and sold. It was my very first stock. My girlfriend said, to just buy and hold for retirement. ( She still has all her shares) But I had a client very high up at Abbott. She told me it would never pass the 2nd FDA. She was right. But Jackie bought more at $3. I did not. By then I had made money buying the beaten down home builder stocks. I started doing DD on Al and the company. I thought, this company is not giving up! So I waited till the stock got below $3 again. I thought I'd ride it up to the 3rd FDA and sell. I went in big at 1.89. And held. By the time we got through the votes, hearing Sam speak, I was so excited I held.... Thank god I have not fallen in love with any of my other stocks. I don't play it like that. Then getting my clients kids on Afrezza. Seeing it first hand! That really changed my life. Being a part of something that had so much impact! Something so worth fighting for! Bottom line is that IMO they ARE NOT giving up:-) They are going to keep on truckin like they always have! That was what happened to me and my friend and was the worst reason for me to throw good money after bad.

You're comparing apples or oranges. Damon Dash is a world apart from Vdex and its owner. Your're talking hollywood vs an unknown person. Pioneer in the hiphop scene. You keep your opinionated self to yourself, don't tell other people what they should and should not think/do. Dash is not hollywood. He is a b list celebrity that rode the coat tails of Jay Z. He is an A list hustler and a sharp guy and I have no doubt he owns shares but Damon Dash was no pioneer in hip hop.
