There's a James B Chung who has been the Global Development Executive Director at Amgen. Mike Castagna's title when he was there was VP Global Commercial Lead so a connection between them is likely. What is Johnny Chung's position at Amgen?

Looks like we are getting ANOTHER guy Directly from AMGEN ... Keep a Lookout for a Guy Named Johnny Chung ...currently working at AMGEN Cryptic Tweet from our New CEO leads me to believe he will on board soon... Hmmm..that Looks like 4 ...count em 4 AMGEN guys on the Mannkind Train (yeah I know Appel is gone already) You hire folks you know and have worked with before. That is very common in the business world. |

Yes ! And it looks they have no problem coming... Possibly because Amgen are getting rid of a few hundred people at Thousand Oaks. I'm sure they are doing this to make room for all of the mnkd employees after they buy the company. Can't possibly be any other explanation.  |

What is Johnny Chung's position at Amgen? another Amgen connection means absolutely nothing other than Mike hires another person from Amgen that he knows will do a great job that's it zilch zero nada nothing more in any job corporate or government people hire from other agencies where they know somebody's background and no they will do a great job so for anybody that thinks this again means Amgen Biuyout at this time. Or even in the next six months I will say not likely however in saying the above I'm glad to see Mike hiring more people with more experience that he knows their reputation and people wanting to work with Mike for the same reasons Continued good luck all |

So far I have seen no evidence that Johnny Chung is the same Johnny Chung at Amgen. It probably is but it is also a very common name.. Does anyone know for sure hes from Amgen?

Possibly because Amgen are getting rid of a few hundred people at Thousand Oaks. I can understand layoffs but why would they include their director of global marketing? The layoff is 8% of their workforce across all functions at Thousand Oaks. They have several directors of global marketing so it's not unlikely one would be included. Just roll the reports up to the VP (or pick an unsuspecting manager). |
