You should already know by now that Mann Group has endless amount of funds, probably more than Apple has in their cash stockpile. We don't know that. I have attempted to unravel all the various Mann entities, and while Al Mann no doubt had very significant wealth, he spread it across many legal entities. The line of credit is from one of those entities, and the only thing we know for sure about Mann Group is that is a Delaware LLC and that it holds only slightly more value in MNKD stock than what they have committed to deliver in cash. They have filed no reports for any other entity except MNKD so there are no significant other shareholdings. Without a balance sheet to look at, it is not possible to say that they have an endless amount of funds. Likewise, each Mann entity has a particular purpose and particular beneficiaries, and the trustees are required to enforce the trust agreements. So if Mann Group does not have liquid assets, they can't just move them over from another Mann entity. Absent disclosed financial statement they could very well have the cash just sitting around, in which case all they need do is write the check, but there is a reason they have a sixty day notice period before any credit is paid out and a reason the Deerfield extension is contingent on them delivering.

Peppy, whats going on? Feels like were getting traction with scripts and lots of talk on social media so where are the buyers? Are they all waiting for dilution? We cant afford dilution at this price, can we?

It was meant to be a sarcastic response to Matt and his suggestion the Mann Group is either selling off shares to produce a payment or eventual dilution. Some folks here are defiant in that they believe the Mann Group has endless cash and would never need to sell MNKD share to raise funds.

The shorts have come to play and they are betting on dilution. Good luck longs. The only thing wrong with your statement is that the shorts HAVE BEEN HERE playing for years now. They did not just arrive nor does it look they they are very frightened as to covering.

They did not just arrive nor does it look they they are very frightened as to covering. Short interest above 48% for several weeks now. They'll continue to pay with average strategic/marketing/planning news and no real financing solutions at CC. ...the "financing can" will be kicked down the road, my guess.

They did not just arrive nor does it look they they are very frightened as to covering. It goes back to the same old issue that causes conflicts. Do I look at Mannkind as a unique entity? Do I look it as a company that's going through the same dance that many other companies have gone through? Since making money is the object I like to think that I won't dismiss information that's helpful for picking stocks no matter which side it comes from. But for me, that's easier said than done.

They have filed no reports for any other entity except MNKD so there are no significant other shareholdings." So is the Mann Group has no filed reports how do you know its holdings or worth? What he says is correct. We only know with 100% certainty that their only holding of a publicly traded issue is MNKD. Speculating on whether they have significant other holdings can only be based on clues. It appears from terms of recent Deerfield agreement that they might have concern over whether Mann Group can deliver. Also, management has stated multiple times that financial constraints have curtailed size of sales staff, advertising ability and development of TS pipeline. If you are claiming that they have lots of money, why have they long sat by and watched MNKD suffer due to lack of funding? If they have the money it seems they have no interest, beyond what is legally required by prior loan agreements, to help Mannkind. I'd like to think they have the desire to help MNKD but lack the resources to do so. The other plausible scenario seems worse. Your view seems to be unless something is 100% provable, everyone has to accept the absolute best case scenario even if it seems implausible.
