What happens to MNKD on TASE if MNKD is delisted from the NASDAQ Global Market?

Although i am still going with my original prediction of a global distribution agreement, i wanted to put another highly speculative option out there.
The upcoming conference call was scheduled only 3 business days after the announcement of the call on January, 27th. Typically they give at least a few weeks notice for these types of shareholder "company development" calls so this scheduling does seem hasty. To me that signifies there will be some SEC filing coming early next week which will require additional clarification on the call. What if Mannkind has received an unsolicited bid for takeover. Bids do need to be disclosed publicly and if it is one the company is going to reject they will to provide some clarification to the shareholders. Further it could have to do with the Mann Group looking to sell its 33% stake in the company and there may already be an offer. Of course Mannkind leadership does not want to sell and relinquish control of the company for cheap here and may choose to further dilute outstanding shares in order to prevent this type of move and majority ownership. Just something else to ponder.

If there were a bid, I would think leaks would lead to some changes in the price/volume action ahead of the announcement; unless, of course, the bid is for 65 cents a share.

I don't see the Mann group giving the company away. They also have some cash available from the foundation if they have cars available. They might not have the cash available because of the depressed share price. But let's say they have a offer to buy the company and its disclosed then my guess is you would see a pile on event with multiple suitors stepping up and raising the ultimate sale price. I think if there was an offer we would have seen wild share movements and upward momentum. We have not seen that. It would be interesting if the Mann group sold their share interest to a big Pharma directly for a set amount above today's market price for some undetermined value to be released in the future or some type of rights.

Corporate development refers to the planning and execution of strategies to meet organizational objectives. The kinds of activities falling under corporate development may include management team recruitment, phasing in or out of markets or products, arranging strategic alliances, identifying and acquiring companies (M&A), securing corporate financing, divesting of assets or divisions, and management of intellectual property. The activities encompassed are often the role of the CEO.
CCO being present means partnership. Furthermore, By this time last year, there were low balled partnership proposal due to the perceived short runway and Afrezza commercial failure. Matt said BoD didn't want those deals.
This time though Afrezza still hasn't had traction, the pending label change, trials, multiple ex-US filings, TV Ads, reality shows, more testimonials, more lives covered, longer runway telegraph potential partners that the franchisor would do its part to vigorously promote Afrezza thereby benefiting the franchisees. Think of it as coordinated multiple Afrezza launches.
Moreover, EpiHale IND is due early 1Q17. As such, it's likely there are interesting potential partners as Rose alluded to (posted earlier in this thread).
Many rightly criticized why Al didn't hold a CC when Mnkd inked the partnership with Dr Evil. In hindsight that portended a failed partnership.
This time, BoD may want to do it right. The would-be short 3-day noticed material event conforms SEC rule telegraphing some partnership(s). A telltale sign will be if an 8-K is filed on 2/1/17.
Mnkd may also choose to announce co-promoting 3rd party products such as synergistic DEXCOM CGM with some cash upfront and milestone based payments as Matt stated several times.
BTW, What madog365 refers to is called poison pill which Mnkd might need. Don't remember if Mnkd SH already voted upon creating one.

"Land Of Hope And Dreams" Grab your ticket and your suitcase Thunder’s rollin’ down this track Well, you don’t know where you’re goin’ now But you know you won’t be back Well, darlin’ if you’re weary Lay your head upon my chest We’ll take what we can carry Yeah, and we’ll leave the rest Big wheels roll through fields Where sunlight streams Meet me in a land of hope and dreams Well, I will provide for you And I’ll stand by your side You’ll need a good companion now For this part of the ride Leave behind your sorrows Let this day be the last Tomorrow there’ll be sunshine And all this darkness past Big wheels roll through fields Where sunlight streams Oh meet me in a land of hope and dreams This train... Carries saints and sinners This train... Carries losers and winners This train... Carries whores and gamblers This train... Carries lost souls I said this train... Dreams will not be thwarted This train... Faith will be rewarded

Last February, MannKind conducted an investors conference a few weeks after their JPMorgan Conference presentation. The Feb 3 MannKind Investors Conference call began with these words: Matthew J. Pfeffer
Thank you, Rose. In addition to Rose, I’m also pleased to be here with MannKind’s Chief Medical Officer, Dr. Ray Urbanski. We plan to use today’s investor call to give a deeper update on several aspects of MannKind’s business than we had the time to go into at our recent JPMorgan Presentation.
For the first time, we’ll also be answering questions submitted from our retail investor community as well as answering live questions from covering analysts. As Ray and I provide updates on various topics today, we will answer many of the questions submitted related to that topic.

I decided to post this historical information as a caution (especially for myself) to temper overly-optimistic expectations. This Investors Conference may have the identical purpose as the Feb-2016 conference: "to give a deeper update...than we had time to go into at our recent JPMorgan presentation". On Feb 3 MNKD was $0.99/share. One month later $1.10/share. It wasn't until after Matt's presentation at the 4Q15 (EOY) earnings call that MNKD rallied to $2.03/share. The February 2016 Investors Conference didn't result in much movement in share price at all. As I stated yesterday, I'm hoping for some new announcements but I'm expecting the call to consist largely of a "deeper" look for investors into management's plans for 2017. I'm also trying to temper any overly optimistic expectations BUT big BUT why can't they just come out and say that they want to have a call and to give a deeper update so that expectations don't run wild. They could say we would like to have a share holders conference call to discuss on going previously announced items to update our share holders on our progress to date. Or something to that effect. Otherwise we are going to speculate on everything from buyout by Google to bankruptcy and everything in between. We shall see it's very nerve racking..

Perhaps it was a partnership that has driven the recent spate of hiring much to the dismay of us on the sidelines wondering how they're going to pay for it. This would certainly make sense.......not that much makes sense with Mannkind. If they can ink a solid deal that actually generates continuous revenue then perhaps we can move away from this funky low share price once and for all. It would certainly be a welcome change.....if it happens and if it works out and if it prevents a reverse split and therefore delisting and if it avoids further dilution and......

Last year 1/27/16, Mnkd announced that it'd hold a Corp dev CC on 2/3/16. That's 5 biz day notice. This year, it's 3 biz day notice, perhaps to satisfy SEC rule?
Most likely, Mnkd will attend RBC Capital Markets 2017 Global Healthcare Conference on Thursday, Feb. 23, at the Lotte New York Palace in New York City.
An ER will likely follow on Mon 3/13/17.
