Not a problem. It's possible we're shipping 10.5 tons of Afrezza to Abu Dhabi already

here is the thinking. I have not bought in. Mike C and two other hires from Amgen. The Dubai news. Amgen opening an office in Dubai.
(some people have thought Amgen will buy MNKD. I went to the amgen website and I missed any synergy.)
I have to admit I never had a gut feeling about Amgen. Two of my good friends, Patten and Mannontop keep telling me something was up! I'm starting to believe it:-) This is great news! Thanks Sports! I thought Amgen would be involved! Here is my post from April 7, cut and pasted... Apr 7, 2017 at 4:49pm I am predicting Amgen being involved, and with their involvement, taking AFREZZA to success and a launch overseas as well! But, then again, we could be getting our hats handed to us...This is MNKD...So...Who really knows?? But based on the terms of the continued employment, etc. of the 8k, I honestly think a very positive event is looming! It would be about time, right?? GLTA TRUE LONGS!! Amgen has a large portfolio of drugs. I doubt it's for Afrezza. Sorry to be a Debbie downer but I think we are not going to see them opening an office for them marketing Afrezza Wow KC welcome to the reality crew. You will certainly be labeled a Fudster now.

I get how connecting these two recent dots can really make someone's mind wander. Of course the folks at proboards have seen this move coming before smart money

Hi Sports, your link is invisible for me (as well as your twitter posts -no idea why), therefore I googled the headline- here's one result: m.gulfnews.com/business/amgen-opens-middle-east-office-in-dubiotech-free-zone-1.236445Amgen, the world's largest biotechnology company, yesterday announced the opening of its regional office in Dubai. Staff Report 00:00 May 11, 2006Dubai: Amgen, the world's largest biotechnology company, yesterday announced the opening of its regional office in Dubai --------------------------------------------------- So it seems to be very old news

Not to be a downer but the Amgen article was from May 2006. Not 2017. The spike was not caused by this article. So there must be something more.

What I like about Amgen is that they have been in country for 10+ years and are established in the UAE. I also like the idea they have been trolling the ADA convention with a big booth/display last year and another this year.
It would seem to me they are looking to get into the diabetes space. The big thing about the show are not the on floor displays but rather the backroom meetings.
Mike C. said on the call he is looking for a PCP sales partner with 300-500 reps. I know nothing about Amgen do they do door to door PCP sales?

Look at their product list. Amgen's big thing seems to be monoclonal antibodies. The suffix, mab. There seems to be big money in mab. It is a newer type of drug and drug classification, I think, like the last 10 years? I have to look. Sanofi, their new leadership turning to them. Is it because they are a rich money making source?
Added: Monoclonal antibodies are given by injection. MNKD has technosphere patents that relate to monoclonal antibodies. Just sayin. I could try and dig one up...but... www.screencast.com/t/HUNAFigK mnkd.proboards.com/thread/4319/help-out-technosphere-lympathic-system
(Liane, ah yes, I remember it well.)

Peppy we are not all as knowledgable in biotechnology and medical science as you. Lol. What does that monoclonal antibodies and diagnostic uses thereof have to do with relations to Amagen?
