Interesting facts. I tried to fill my prescription of boxes of 60-4s + 30-8s, which as reported, would soon be unavailable. McKesson told my local pharmacy that Afrezza was discontinued. They did the same thing back when Sanofi dropped Afrezza and Mannkind took Afrezza back.
I mention this because McKesson is part of the problem in this puzzle. Mannkind should sue McKesson for obvious reasons. Something smells rotten here. JMHO!

At the risk of oversimplifying, it sorta looks like McKesson will sell anything if they can make decent money off of doing so.

You know, this McKesson/Sanofi thing reminded me of something. The Sanofi Group subsidiary, Francopia, is one of the world's largest opiate producers. They have breeding programs for poppy and cultivate poppy fields for the development of morphine derivatives (hydromorphone), thebaine derivatives (oxycodone), and synthetic opioids (Fentanyl and Methadone).
I think MannKind and Torrey Pines were on a breakthrough for drug discovery of safe, effective, non-addictive inhaled analgesics.
Sanofi aids the opioid crisis. Sanofi rips off the VA. Sanofi likes to backstab veterans.
Imagine that.

my guess is it may have been the SKU numbers. www.screencast.com/t/ByP84qolYQrX

Hopefully MannKind will send out to all the Wholesale companies like McKesson and to all the other companies a letter outlining the issues with the SKU numbers. I am sure they can hit all the big box Pharmas like WBA, CVS, Rite Aid, Walmart and others. The company needs to proactively do this today.

There is no issue with SKU numbers at the wholesaler, it's at the pharmacy. If I order something from Amazon and use an incorrect name I don't expect them to automatically correct it, that's on me as the buyer. I particularly liked the rush to judgement on this thread - evil McKesson trying to damage Mannkind. No. An incompetent pharmacy ordering incorrectly (it's difficult to sue McKesson for that) Kudos to Peppy for coming up with the correct and rational answer.
