Schwab just raised to 60% Can I speculate that this means the shorts are doubling up instead of giving up?

Loan rate up on IB to 112% and there are again no shares to be lend out. Shorts are creamed. They have to buy the stock or do some nasty stuff to be able to dump it to move the price.

The last notice I received a few weeks back was a loan rate of 50%. Fidelity is paying 50% for mnkd shares. Where do you see the loan rate from Fidelity? I can't seem to find this... still looking

I don’t know where to look up what they charge to borrow. The shares I bought on Monday cleared at eod yesterday and have been loaned out already so there is still demand from shorts. I hope they get burned badly!

How do you loan shares? Do you need to own a certain amount to be able to do it? I use fidelity.

How do you loan shares? Do you need to own a certain amount to be able to do it? I use fidelity. Schwab does not have a minimum account size to get into the lending program. I'm sure from a practical standpoint there would be some lower limit on the number of MNKD shares they'd want to bother with, but likely if you have 1000 or more they would let you in if they need more shares. I had much of my MNKD holding in TD Ameritrade years ago and transferred all to Schwab because TD doesn't do paid share loan at all.

What people didnt tell you was answer to your question. Fidelity calls it Fully Paid Lending Program, here is the link with the information you requested(note the phone number at the bottom that you need to call for more info) capitalmarkets.fidelity.com/app/item/RD_13569_22178/fully-paid-lending.html

To loan you need an account balance of $250k ?? That's funny because I barely had that in my account last friday. Oh, did I mention that I went 100% on MNKD earlier this year?
I know ... I know ... I shouldn't do that and need to diversify. Sorry, when I saw Moses part the sea ... I had to go!
