Original post makes it sound like mike Posted the caps basically saying label change approved. It's his job to sound optimistic There are only 2 scenarios in which that comment could have been made 1. He was in possession of the FDA letter or 2. The letter has not been recieved. If he was in possession of the letter it must substantiate his excitement. This in my mind is the most credible. The FDA does not provide press releases and will not place upon the FDA website the results until the company has a chance to review and given a chance to formulate their press release. If the letter was denial than his comments are absurd. I am surprised we had no reporting of late night pizza deliveries ala the pentagon and the start of the Gulf War. I will be very surprised if the label changes includes a new class of ultrafast insulin, that would be a complete game changer. I do expect enough loosening of the label to give Afrezza the ability to market the drug appropriately and successfully. Sunday or Monday pre market, we will find out more. The label of course, but perhaps partnership contingent upon the label as well. I for one would be willing to see a true marketing partnership of Afrezza. I dont want a rehash of the SNY debacle. There is only one way to achieve trust in the partnership and that is a share exchange for whatever percentage is achieved. It is also the only way to immediately crush the shorts since it puts a premarket price on the stock. Hard for shorts and MM to mess with. Technosphere has always been the diamond, imagine ultrafast acting for 23 more drugs. |

Call me paranoid, but I'm a little worried that he was not referencing afrezza in his first Tweet.

I'm a little worried that he was not referencing afrezza in his first Tweet. Indeed. "This has been a great week 4 people w/ diabetes. We are on the verge of transformation that hasn't been seen since Atripla launched in HIV." He could be talking about all the news this week having to do with One Drop, Libre, and Fiasp. Certainly Afrezza may ultimately be in the mix as well. But IMO his actual tweet sure reads as being rather general, not really Afrezza specific at all. |

I would be concerned if Castagna referenced his tweet with Afrezza. Any reference to the status of the label would land him in hot water if a press release was not delivered first. He was purposefully being vague while being optimistic. Many times its not what is said its what not said. |

Someone made reference to Mike C's late night tweet and Trumps late night tweets and that was Mike C's response. Don't make something out of nothing. |

I hope I'm wrong but it seems like Mike was just anticipating the positive impacts of the FreeStyle Libre system since that was referenced in his prior tweet.

GLTAL Hey dejude42, if I'm not mistaken, I think Matt Pfeffer was the one who gave the "embarrassment of riches" comment. He took a ton of crap for that comment when nothing seemed to go right after that. I think he will ultimately be proven right, but the comment was premature when he said it. |
