But if they dont would that suggest that the financial front is secured by some other means? If it were truly "secured" it would be material event and they'd need to disclose. Even if something is in the works, I think they'd be fools not to take advantage of the opportunity to sell some under the ATM to extend the short term runway. Any deal can fall through until it is signed.

Tomorrow will be critical. Let's see if the script count will bring us back to reality. Last Friday there was a rumor that Merck offered MNKD a buyout. Wondering if this rally is related to that. Last rumor it was $14 a shar x 5 would be $70..hmm

boomboom... well said. Though it is not unreasonable for a 21 year old to be more aggressive with risk than someone facing retirement.

Spot on Pep. This is undeniable awareness. Awareness can often equate to money in the bank......................

Hello everyone, this is my first post ever. Brian, I have 3500 @ 2.81, that price being what I've averaged up to after buying regularly for the past few months. I'm also 21 years old and this is the first stock I've ever invested in. It's true that I don't want to miss my chance, after today's gains I now control the most amount of money I've ever seen in one place. However, I'm not going to sell anytime soon. I'm riding this rocketship as far as it will go. If that bites me in the butt later I will consider it a lesson learned, however I prefer to think big picture. Even reaching $30 would change my life. Also Peppy if you're reading this, I can't thank you enough. Your insights have been invaluable. I wish us all the best of luck. MangoJuicesSpiked, 9 years ago when I started investing in this stock I was in a similar position. Stock price was at, or around, this price. I had invested approximately $3000. The stock had rides like this way more frequently. I am 31 now and read your post and could not help but reflect a little bit. I agree you will have a lesson learned if you decide to hold and observe what happens. But take it from me, someone that had the opportunity to pay off their house at the age of 25yrs old and said "im going to ride this rocketship" only to watch those gains demolished just months later. Just to put that in perspective for you, that was the equivalent of me refusing $110,000 of profit at the age of 24. It sounds ridiculous even as I type it out now but nonetheless its what happened. I am not going to tell you what to do with your money, but at your age, the biggest lesson you want to learn is to decouple your emotions and that "vision" of your life changing at $30 or any other price target you see fit for financial freedom. I had this same vision for years thinking that at my age if a stock did do something like this I would be set. But if I could do it over again, instead, I would have told myself to start practicing how to trade and invest. You will get equal lessons learned by taking profits as a stock rises and selling for a loss as it continues to fall instead of waiting for the big finale. If you take those profits in increments, you may experience emotions of regret if the stock continues to climb or pride in your decision when the stock falls and you will learn much more quickly how to be self-aware of your emotional state so when you make bigger and bigger decisions with larger amounts of money you will be well aware of the risks you are taking. Waiting for the big finale will only give you one really good or really bad life experience. If you went home today knowing you made $1000 over night at the age of 21 should there ever be reason you should be upset about that? Good luck and welcome to this wacky world. Listen to boomboom, he knows whereof he speaks!

21 years old or not, you should not invest based on where the price is at any given time. Do you believe Mannkind is a business worth holding on to? Do you think Afrezza will sell better 5 years from now or do you think the company will be bankrupt? Make a decision based on info OTHER THAN THE SHARE PRICE and stick to it, changing your opinion and position only when you see new information that makes you think differently about the business (NOT THE STOCK).
I have held shares in MNKD for a decade. I bought more in recent months. I think Afrezza is a great drug. I do not have an immense amount of money in MNKD relative to my total wealth - it is still uncertain.

I'm 18, using Robinhood app. I can't day trade before of the 3 day trade max in the previous 5 days. Missed my opportunity to sell at $6. What else can be done right now? Should I go pass the restriction which will prevent me from day trading for the next 90 days? or wait 5 trading days?
