peppy... my take is that Mike has reignited investor interest by demonstrating competence in moving the ship forward. We were way oversold with an outsized risk of bankruptcy built into price... of course that can be self fulfilling since a company with cratered stock price can totally rule out successfully raising money in the markets. Now that the "sinking ship" spell has been broken we were getting a virtuous spiral upwards as the increase itself reduces the downside risk possibility and makes dilution look less painful... and is attracting a lot of attention and thus bringing new potential investors to the MNKD story. THEN, we had momentum traders hop on the train... perhaps with some more recent shorts in the "kill zone" bailing. Think that was today's period of shooting up. Based on loan rates increasing today, still think there are shorts willing to engage in battle... some shorts could still be sitting on massive profits.

I recall when the old management was too arrogant to raise some money during a period of high stock prices and then nearly went bankrupt. |
