If yesterday hadn't happened we'd all be happy closing the week up 12% at $2.79. I’m not disappointed with the SP increase, just another time during the past 4 years where I said to myself, “this could finally be it”....get rid of the shorts once and for all, stop having to listen to the Fragslaps, the 50 alias on MBs like stocktwits spewing absolute nonsense.... actual feel like we’re on a level playing field

Any idea as to what exactly happened yesterday, today? There wasn't any social media stuff to influence. Was it an algo trade that went out of control? Or, may be someone knew what is/will happen, as that Linkedin guy said? Nice drop today to buy. But, I'm scared of this stock! Like an idiot, I bought at 5.xx when it was going up last time. I really thought the label change was the *REAL* game changer. Stat is another big thing, but is not due until June (2 quarters!!). I don't think MNKD has enough cash to last 2 qtrs - right? Needs cash before Jun. * Cant dilute at $3. * A partner/insurance deal? Didn't someone say insurance change is ruled out for 2018? Also, as someone said China partner, and dilute? Any idea - peppy , and other knowledgeable folks? Thanks! Some formularies are updated mid year, so I think "ruled out" is inaccurate. How much change we might expect, I wouldn't hazard a guess on. At current revenue levels they do not have money for 2 qtrs. Why would you suppose they "can't" dilute at $3? Right.. I'm not sure how the insurance companies work. It sure looks like some kind of network with an artificial high barrier. They can dilute at $3. But, then it quickly gets to the crazy $1 region. They dont want to go near that again! If you do want to, you dont want to raise 10 mil - right? You want ~150-200 mil, and that will dilute it by more than 50%. So, IMHO they cant/wont do it at $3. They have to somehow bump it up like last time to $6-7, then take a big haircut (raise 150-200 mil), then go crazy with ads, and hope for the best. Most likely time would be ADA, but its too far away. So, IMHO, yesterday was/is a mystery. Or, maybe some partnership talks are going on and got leaked out??

I would imagine raising similar amount as last time rather than $10M or $150M. But that is purely a guess. Obviously Mike may have expectations about how things might unfold that are not known to any of us and could influence timing and size of an equity offering. Though companies can't just arbitrarily pick a number... it is bounded by how much demand there is. Even if the purchasers in a PIPE are shorting to lock in a profit based on discounted price, there are practical limitations to how many shares can be absorbed by markets.

STAT results will blow Fiasp/Huma/Novo out of the water. This is such a transparent and simple threat which will soon drastically change the profits for these BP crooks. Dry Powder delivery is not even going to be funny and MNKD will no longer be the “cockroach” that escaped every poison attempt, but in turn a conglomerate with influence, power and a SP to be reckoned with. Patience on this position will likely be one of the most lucrative to exist ever in Bio tech. 200,000 shares long. All in on mnkd.

A mere 20k shares could likely retire people at some point off this stock, so well done on 200k. Hopefully STAT will make Afrezza the belle of the ball at ADA this year.

Average daily volume reached in 30 minutes. This could be a very interesting day.

So after three days, we're essentially back to where we were before the one day run-up. Volume has steadily decreased over the three days as well.

Now the $64 question is: who's going to have the cojones to sell after the big run-up and wait for the "inevitable" decline to buy again? My sell-at-4 order went through Will be buying them back at 2.50.

Increasing health care cost are "a hungry tapewarm on the American economy" Warren Buffett said in a statement after him Bezos and Dimon announced plans for a new company that aims to improve healthcare. All the "healthcare" company shares drop sharply and maybe there finally is the chance for Osborn and his crew to focus on shorting the real evil doers like MCK and get off MNKD once for ever.

@joey, That book by John Murphy is on sale for $1.99 Amazon (kindle version). I bought it, no idea when I will read it. But, I already feel smarter :-)
