I just watched Friday's Mad Money and I've just have to share my thoughts with you all.
His producers finally let a question through about MNKD for the first time in forever and he did not dismiss it off hand like he has in the past. I didn't even see it in his words, tone or body language. Trust me, I've been studying Cramer's show and his investment style since it started and you get to know a persons expressions and phraseology pretty well. The key takeaway here is the backstory not all of you may know. Adam Feurstein is Cramer's go-to guy in biotech. He's got a whole staff of researchers at his disposal too but AF has historically been his guy.
AF is an infamous character in Mannkind support circles because of his very obvious negative view on Mannkind and it's prospects since the beginning. To be frank, well, it's rubbed some members of the Mannkind "cult" the wrong way. He's been harassed by some Mannkind followers over the years, further adding to his contempt of the company IMO. Don't hate me for saying this but I have seen what he saw in Mannkind Management all along. They weren't ready to become "Big Pharma" by a long shot. Be honest, all of you have noticed the extreme difference between Al's, Hakan's, Matt's and Mike's approach to the CEO position. I liked Al, Hakan, and especially Matt. He was doing great things for the future of Mannkind. They were just seen as, let's say milk toast by the extra savvy analysts from the investment world. Mike, and Steve Binder the CFO are being accepted more like pedigree Wall Street guys. And now, they have something none of the former leaders of Mannkind ever had, accelerated revenue growth or ARG. Cramer LOVES "ARRGGHH" as he says it.
it may take a month or two for him to complete his take on us. To be honest, I'd like to have the recapitalization completed before he opines. Cramer knows that even great science can be lost without the proper management. I hope he brings Mike Castagna on the show for optimal effect. I don't know if AF is behind the acceptance of a MNKD review, but believe me when I say if we can change the minds of AF and Cramer, we could end up the next Regeneron. Those guys know how Wall Street thinks. To this long suffering investor, after the glorious events of this week, Friday's Mad Money was icing on my big old Mannkind cake. Holding 10,000 shares until my retirement in 98 months, GOOD LUCK TO ALL OF YOU

to me the A-hole Jim Cramer speaks through AF and speaks on the behalf of Big Pharma repressing Afrezza.
The "Cult" as you refer to are educated investors who understand and accept the science is liken to those who oppose the quick in and quick out non needle approach... I'll call them Flat Earthers. It is the Flat Earthers that are the Cult not those who support the science. Crammer is not a friend of MNKD ... it makes him too much money to be opposed to Afrezza's success on behalf of Big Pharma.

yeah, I dislike these people. however, if they are making the flip that is good.
AF, I saw a tweet sports posted, from Mike, and AF. apparently AF is working for another syndication? My distain, for the being.
People do listen to cramer...
If cramer is flippin, there is a buzz of sorts.
That volume spike. www.screencast.com/t/ydoGI5TYTMx
A money raise?(ATM) a short covering? An accumulation? Distribution? Afrezza, make the flip, try it you will like it. the buzz is insurance will now cover afrezza? wall street going long? They have hired eyeballs for goodness sake. Tim cook wearing trial continuous glucose monitor months ago? heh

Cramer..has been neutral..(a safe space) But because of the changes to a commerial operation from a developmental one..with a new smoking hot label that shows Afrezza superiority..in and out..over Novo Nordisk FAISP by a wide margin..he should get on the right side of the tracks..if he stays in the middle of the tracks..not good..if on the wrong side..misses the trian..

He can't say anything negative..he saw Minimed..grow 50% a quarter..go from a buck to 190..lead by Al..he knows Al's track record..so he has been like a deer caught in the heatlight look for some time now..surely he himself is wanting in or is in..and can't say anything..so he has to say he is neutral..on stocks he is invested in...or trading..hmm

I suppose that was why for so many years whenever there was a hit piece by a writer for seeking alpha a small photo of Cramer was on the page of that hit piece. And it isn't his editors who control Jim Cramer it's Jim Cramer who choses the stocks and controls the editors. And YES I'll grant you, due to his followers.. if he gave the company a thumbs up it would be good for MNKD and the sales of Afrezza. Again; he has been no friend to Mannkind... and if you look to Mannkind's salvation via the change of mind of it's enemies and adversaries... yeah; we will move quicker in the direction of where MNKD should have been years ago. "But this Bloomberg piece relays a different story of what Shkreli did at Cramer’s hedge fund and how they are connected. Although who knows if Jim Cramer was at his old firm when this strange biotech trade took place: The child of working-class immigrants from Albania and Croatia, Shkreli skipped grades and landed his first job as a 17-year-old college intern for Jim Cramer, the hedge fund manager and host of CNBC’s Mad Money. Restless in his clerical role, Shkreli recommended shorting a biotech stock—betting the company’s share price would drop. Sure enough, it did. Cramer’s hedge fund profited, and the Securities and Exchange Commission called to ask if there’d been any funny business behind the prescient wager. At 19, Shkreli found himself under SEC scrutiny. The agency found nothing amiss." Cramer argues that shkreli never worked for him. His pictures were on multiple hit pieces written for Seeking Alpha.

I think Cramer is irrelevant...and soon many large pharmas will drop their pumps..and other insulins..as insurance companies and their high prices are driving them out now that Afrezza is here..72% of diabetics..only need Afrezza..type 1xs will need. basal and late stage type 2's

I have mentioned it in other posts and even provided a link in the past. I know that some of you saw the video as well and have commented on it too. I will look for it again when I have time, and post it if no one on here beats me to it. Unfortunately what Cramer does say actually does sway some investors to buy or sell, but imho, you must be a novice investor to invest based on a television show host. DD is the best, and even then, no one is perfect, right? GO MNKD! THE SKY IS THE LIMIT!

www.youtube.com/watch?v=VMuEis3byY4 . cramer on shorting www.youtube.com/watch?v=8RkqzRs95Sc . jon stewart discussing his hedge fund not here to shoot the messenger for letting us know about what is potential influence one way or another. The point I'd like to be clear about is "Consider the source" and what and who you believe in and for what reasons. I'm as confident in Cramer telling me things truthful as much as I am with motley fool and seeking alplha. All are tools to misrepresent for short interest. But neutral... no. There are some who want to make money by means of trying to KILL OFF companies who have the drug or application that might cure or help with Diabetes, Cancer, Alzheimers etc. We each live in our comfort zone but I'd rather make money knowing my financial decisions render relief and help rather that making money doing the opposite... killing the cure for a buck is what some might refer to as sociopathic. These people would kill off anything for a buck. It's ALL ABOUT THE MONEY BABY

Radgray. Good Luck to You too! I think we at long last have a platform to launch from. A Thumbs up from Cramer would probably make the stock fly regardless of his historical influences. Thanks for your take... no intent to make it personal.. I appreciate that you posted.

carefultoinvest. I have to agree that there is a lot of potential. Given Afrezza has the market that it does Globally; the high percentage of Diabetics which at the same time demonstrates the ease and comfort of dispensing a drug. Technosphere then has a launch with another patent and then another. I would agree... IF there is a paradigm shift from needle to Technospere the value of this company could be amazingly dynamic. Best of luck to you!

Afrezza is by the new label obvoiusly superior..Once Mannkind starts running commercials on basic cabele..where everyone can see it...gameover..92% of diabetics haven't heard of Afrezza..but when they do..God help the big pharma while we watch the bidding wars...ha!
