Option volume is high again, they are readying themselves for when the squeeze starts. Don't worry about big boys, they will make money on the way up as well. It's the loud mouth retail shorts that will feel the brunt of this squeeze. I called it a mini-squeeze the other day. Agreed. Retail shorts. My guess is a number are piling on again waiting for another flash crash down. The real squeeze won't start until evidence (IMO) that the label change is having an impact - scripts, partnerships, international deals, more coverage, etc. IMO, MNKD from the investor perspective, is still proving commercial viability. There's a glimmer of light, so hence the movement. And GS got their 10 cent share target hit a while back. But yea. We're still just over $1/share pre-split. Long, long way to go.

Good Morning MannKind! Love seeing the upper end of the day range at $6.96 Now that would be fantastic if we actually closed above $7.00.
There is serious blood in the water. Not sure what is going on but it seems that Mike has been like the wizard working behind the curtain and SHORTLY something good will be revealed. I'm still in Kansas which is the land Oz but evidently Mike MannKind and his team have hit the big stage and will move in front of the curtain SHORTLY.
GTLA...... Al saod he would sell for less then $125 a share pre-split..so $125 x 5 for buyout?

Bring on a hostile takeover attempt by all means! I guess we don't yet have the short interest numbers as of 9/30; but, in any event, even those will not tell the story, we need to see what is happening in early October, too, and that won't be out for more than two weeks. Very curious. Part of this rally just has to be some short covering. And, no doubt, some new short positions have been born recently, so it makes it difficult to get a fix on what's happening in the short world. Gosh, it would be great to have the numbers day to day. I used to say many years ago that a hostile take over attempt would create a bidding war. My guess is that eventually somebody will come forward with a 10% interest and make the Board put the company up for sale and then the Bidding war occurs. Frankly I'm surprised it has not happened yet. I would love to be invested with my current share level for another five years if we have truly turned the corner.
If Big pharma wakes up and realizes what Afrezza is really all about then our days will be numbered as a big offer will come in and we will part of another big Pharma. Its been a very interesting road.

Sorry for an ignorant question. When does the short interest on Mannkind get published? I see on the NASDAQ site there is September 15th as latest so September 30th would be next. But the one that will be telling is October 15th?

It is ridiculous that we have to wait weeks for info that should be current. These interest rates, % to barrow and % paid, seem to be the best daily indicator we have to know what's going on. I still like 97%.

I've been wondering if we used the atm and we don't have any shares, should we be worried of a hostile takeover with all this volume? They may try..but the offer would be in the multi-billions...I think in valualtion..one has to look at global FAISP sales and say..Afrezza is superior to FAISP..thus whatever those sales are..++++..No one but Mannkind has an answer to FAISP...definately on BP radars..doubt they like taking losses..or eating crow..but crow they will eat.. I don't think Fiasp has a great deal of sales at this point.

There's a possibility (maybe slight) that this is the beginning of Mannkind being a big pharm player. If inhalation has become a new better way for drug intake, well look out, Mannkind may have many forms of revenue taking up many areas of multibillion dollar markets. If Mannkind gets big enough, with proper management...who knows, maybe it gets close to the 125 billion market caps of the big pharm companies. That's a price of 1,250 with probably many quarterly dividends along the way. Mannkind will probably issue a lot of shares on the way up, diluting the price
