And my FREE advice ... it's going to $100 - $200 pps in 3 - 5 years. Well, let's see if we hit that $10 mark by end of February. But, that's mytakeonit February of what year? Just wondering how much time we have to load up on shares. I believe mytakekeonit said this January 21, 2020 and he meant February 2020.

You wanna see old news, look at the first several posts in this thread back in June of 2014!! Holy cow, price target: $16 And as some of us old timers remember, that means price target $80 by today’s dollars. Even then Al Mann said they were off by orders of Magnitude....and yes when Afrezza partnered the stock hit $60 in todays dollars and that was giving away 33% to Sanofi..but now..it's 100% Mannkinds...FDA Approved and selling like hot cakes...so..as Al once said, " This is the biggest opportunity in the history of Pharma"

777 be honest, didn’t you like it better when we were giving away 33% and our share price was $60? I’d go back there in a heartbeat.

"Investors in MannKind Corporation MNKD need to pay close attention to the stock based on moves in the options market lately. That is because the Jul 17, 2020 $2.50 Call had some of the highest implied volatility of all equity options today.
What is Implied Volatility?
Implied volatility shows how much movement the market is expecting in the future. Options with high levels of implied volatility suggest that investors in the underlying stocks are expecting a big move in one direction or the other. [...]"
Did anyone cover this somewhere already? I just wanted to add, that I dont see how this company could be evaluated significantly lower at the current situation..
While the sales number and such are not great, this company seems pretty far from going belly up any time soon..
So, I am carefully optimistic about this and again these options just mean, that someone is betting on a share price above 2.5$ for one moment before they expire in January.. I am more optimistic than that..

Wow. Pretty impressive comments. And without even mentioning TreT or UTHR. Mr. Hazlett’s comments seem to indicate he may have expertise in the diabetes market in particular. His track record is the best I’ve ever seen for any analyst commenting on MNKD. I’ll bet Nate Pile smiled when he saw this and said “Finally, some vindication of what I’ve asserted for years - MNKD is undervalued.”
Thank you for sharing JoeyPotsandPans!

This article feels like validation to many of us I imagine. If it represents any semblance of a shift in the way the investment community is thinking about the science behind Afrezza, it could be meaningful. Thanks for sharing!

I’ve been reading an excellent book titled, “The Basics of Bitcoins and Blockchains” by Antony Lewis. He mentions towards the back of the book that the Depository Trust and Clearing Corporation (DTCC) started a project back in 2017 to use blockchain technology from IBM, and R3 Corda to, “upgrade the Depository Trust and Clearing House’s trade information warehouse”. That thrilled me. I’m not a very trusting person by nature and the idea that blockchain technology could be used to tamp down (eliminate?) hanky-panky in Dark Pool trades was very exciting. In theory, the SEC could be an auditor of the blockchain. Depending upon the trade information that was captured, bid/ask widen spread trading and other illegal practices might be eliminated (or at least illuminated). I cannot say with certainty that MNKD was the target of illegal financial or trading practices, but as I say, I’m not a trusting person. The idea that the financial markets might become more trustworthy because of a reduction in dark trading practices is very exciting, but also probably somewhat naive. There are dark net blockchains setup for the very purpose of making anonymized exchange of assets, so it’s hard to be sure that what isn’t seen in the DTCC transactions isn’t being made up for somewhere else. But even in the dark chains I suspect honeypots and other mechanisms may still trap criminals. What an interesting time we live in.
The reason I bring this up at all is the significant but so far unexplained reduction in short interest. What makes this time the good time to unwind those positions? I’ll probably never know, but I’m damned glad to see it. Hopefully the trend continues and we never see high SIR again.

It is exciting that a high quality analyst is following the stock. It has been a long time since that has happened. Frankly, its been awhile since there was positive news under this thread. If we can get institutional investors to begin buying a little more along with improving Afrezza sales and TreT approval, I think we can have sustained share price appreciation.
