someone (Mike) said that 90% of PWD still haven't heard of Afrezza.... I do not think the Afrezza ads that were in the NFL football programs helped much. Agree 100% with aching's post! Wow, that was a year ago, it was in the MLB playoffs, not NFL. Yeah, the MLB flyers werent very effective, but hey, I’ll bet those multi million dollar super bowl commercials will be buy 1 get one free this year.

Though I agree that Afrezza needs to be patient driven the other problem is patients are going to the doctors and asking for it and they say no. I’ve heard about this personally and many times on this board. The patients are for the most part going to trust their doctors opinion and are not going to fight for it. We have problems on many fronts that needs working on but it’s very important to get the doctors on board. Yes, all true.... but there have only been a small number of patients asking for Afrezza. I think someone said that 90% of PWD still haven't heard of it. If many many patients start asking their docs for or about Afrezza, the docs will take notice.
When we were in to see the endo, one of the things she mentioned is that there didn't seem to be much demand for the drug. If the demand is there docs will have to begin to change.
When patients start hearing about the excellent control they will want it. With the label change we are now able to say things we couldn't say before. Demand will get docs on board and now we also have better dosing instructions. There was so much confusion before, not so much anymore, all has changed. Management has done an amazing job.
Exactly! This is KEY!!

Lol, we definitely need TV! We have a huge T2 over 50 market to tap into. They watch in their homes, at sports bars, at the gym while doing cardio!! Dr Walt Combs reads a “paper” news paper when he rides the lifecycle called the Wall Street Journal, ( the stock section:-) Plenty of out of shape, overweight diabetics will be flopped on their couches watching various things on the tube. It's not like we're targeting the last million diabetics that don't know about Afrezza, our target audience is HUGE, and if we reach very few of them, the effect on our miserly script counts would be dramatic. I think Mike wants to see the character "Outsulin" rival Alka Seltzer's "Speedy." Now that would mean we've arrived... in style!

$MNKD Afrezza just needs more marketing. I asked my endo about it today and he thought it was discontinued. Even my local CVS was clueless Bullish
This was on ST. I posted it because I hear it over and over.

. If your company could only have one drug of the two above..and the other drug would go to the largest pharma in the world..which one drug would you choose to have to battle the large pharma? The choice is clearly Afrezza....because if large pharma had it..and little Mannkinds only drug was FIASP..we'd be out of business agianst Afrezza...Big Pharma won't be out of business..but theybare saturated in flatline..Mannkind..can grow to the Large Pharma size..from here..large pharma..will never from where they are pearched grow in this way..so..they can either buyout..or lose market share..eitherway Mannkind grows..and grows and grows..sure some little bumps in the road..but Afrezza is clearly the only choice ...now if some idiot uses FIASP in the artificial pancreas..while even NOVO admits faster is better and they are not the fastest...thats on them..and short sighted..and still Mannkind will grow..and grow and grow..imo

Somewhere out there there has to be a list, or lists, of PWDs email or postal addresses. Diabetic magazines, etc. Could MNKD not purchase that/those list(s) and do a direct mailing to those folks?
