Osborne has mentioned to me, several times, he has no long or short position in Mannkind. People are of the opinion that his articles influence share price. While he may influence some retail investors, I doubt institutions would be. Yes, I doubt he really influences much (maybe short term, but certainly not long term). Even more bizarre, many people on this forum think posts here are going to influence the course of things (oh my! Imagine thinking online chat changes Wall Street.). |

Obviously it's a sore spot with him as he has went through the trouble of deleting all my truthful and factual posts. What a hoot this tool is, writes what he wants but can't take the heat in the kitchen when the temperature rises. Knew it when I had my first interaction with him, I inquired why he was writing what amounted at the time to roughly a ratio of about 15/1 articles on one company, he got so defensive in his response it seemed rather odd to me at the time...
Kastanes, he is equivalent to the one sided "news" stations (left and right) that run 24/7 a year later after an election that they can't seem to get over. Instead, they alienate the masses with their daily drivel while more important things are happening globally on a daily basis. I call it selective journalism, censorship at its blatant extreme, no worries, it's good to know he reads the proboards or what he terms the echo chamber. When he mentioned that term (echo chamber) I asked him if he had realized what the membership was and the average number of viewers on a daily 24 hr. basis. He then went on with one of his sarcastic rants, I have zero respect for the individual as he has no backbone IMO...keep running from confrontation Spence, it doesn't look good when you write about a company whilst owning another that inherently causes a conflict of interest. The reason Nate and Kovacocy wouldn't come on SA to confront you directly is because you would have their comments deleted in a heartbeat if you couldn't defend and own up to something. Very weak indeed. Your welcome to respond here, your comments won't get deleted here as different points of view are welcomed here in a respectful manner, TG.

Some have apparently forgotten what happened when there was an error and scripts were reported as suddenly jumping to 900. It turns out it was a simple mistake reporting a monthly versus weekly number...BUT...it definitely affected the pps until the correction was made. Some investors clearly made decisions based on a message board post.

I am anxious to see if ole Spencer will respond on this mb. I personally have rebuted Spencers bs with facts, even attached links proving that what he was claiming was bs. and I was very careful to not use offensive words or content, abiding by the so called "rules" of Seeking Alpha. And my posts never made the comment section. I got tired of wasting my time and just quit reading his garbage. Your exposing his own personal investments to clearly be the impetus for the multiple soft bashing and even bashing articles that he writes about MNKD and AFREZZA is priceless! His repeated response when asked directly why he writes so many articles about this little Biotech, "because he enjoys writing, and charting predictions" was, as we all knew, TOTAL BS, But your exposing the truth in black and white should put an end to it.We'll see! I don't see a conflict owing shares in Arena and writing about MannKind. Completely different products and by the way, MannKind much work to do before I would consider it a product.

Respectfully disagree with that thought process....the same could be said for Arezza compared to the other Raa's, completely different products but still competing in the same market. Regarding the much work to do, we don't know that unless you have had discussions with MNKD directly regarding same. They alluded to the positive response that they received from the FDA due to the drug already approved in an alternative form, so it is hard to say what the time frame would be, ARNA is still in trials on a drug that has not been approved yet so IMO they may have the bigger hurdle to clear pending trial results etc. Again, he (Osborne) tried to make light of MNKD in regard to being a viable competitor to ARNA, yet they MNKD may have an easier path regarding coming to market with an inhalable form of treprostinil a proven treatment as opposed to one that has not been validated and approved yet. So, I'll just agree to disagree with you on that and take pleasure in knowing that this post won't be deleted  Happy Holidays!! |

mnkdfann authors can request comments be deleted if it is for a legitimate reason. Many of my comments to Feroldi were deleted for obscure reasons so I stopped reading and commenting on his articles. I have not had that issue with Osborne.
