That's unfortunate for me then. I was under the impression that the dinner was for true longs. Guess I won't be attending after all. Like I said, I have no desire to meet someone who has tried to ruin me financially for years. No way, no thanks. Have a great shareholders meeting. This is hurtful, honestly, but I'll get over it, mainly cuz my memory sucks these days. The main thrust of my comments since this board started was, essentially, there are no sure things in the market and as good as MNKD/Afrezza looks, it's not a sure thing, so invest accordingly. When we got the approval, I then thought it was a sure thing, and I had plenty of stock fortunately and needed no more. Had I not had a lot of stock at that time, I would have bought more at $10, that's how sure I was. The last really, really good thing to happen to this company was the deal with SNY, since that time, far more bad things than good, and the good have not moved the stock as well as I would have hoped. Since about the 6 month point after SNY started sales efforts, I began to change my point of view - no longer was this a sure thing or even close to that. I remained long the entire time (I go back with Al Mann to early Mini-Med days and Advanced Bionics, so I wasn't about to get off this one, either), although I have sold shares from time to time. The thought that I caused some to sell along the way is crazy, but if I did, given where we are today, those people owe me! Those that I "tried to ruin," well, they should have sold, too, and bought back yesterday! Again, the thought that anyone here makes more than a scintilla of a difference in the price of the stock is, let's say, misinformed. With all those millions upon millions of powerful shorts out there, along with the charismatic Adam Feuerstein, I was an issue? Self accountability is an art that is disappearing in our society. Too bad, I think it's important. I don't read the board as much as I used to, so I miss a lot, and I certainly don't post as much as I used to, frankly, I'm not as comfortable with the makeup of this board now, as I was when it was first formed (could it be that the people who figured what I was trying to say also figured out they should sell?  ) . Geez, one fellow, from Canada, a doc, was a huge proponent - he sold at $2.50, well before the R/S, so, $12.50(!!!) and I thought he was making a mistake. Agghhh!! I will continue to be cynical, sarcastic and try to be humorous (and to call out those who I feel are being disingenuous), but most should know to take what I write with a grain of salt, my style hasn't changed much in fifteen or so years, and it suits me. My humor is often self-deprecating as I present an easy target for myself, but I have to say I try to see the humor in our collective situation with respect to MNKD. For me, it's how I best handle stressful situations. You might say this in one of those, at least financially. |

Guess you slept through the VGK SWEEP!!  , maybe next year Baba....ok onto the Sharks, continues to be an unbelievable story, at least the Wild won a game right MN? and just to keep this on topic, yes nice volume with the price action today, maybe some didn't have to pay as much in taxes as they thought (btw,that's a joke SO, lol) Joey, I have been impressed with VGK since about the third week of the season, when I decided it was no fluke! The silver lining for me, was that the Ducks kept losing right along with us! So from rooting heartily for the Sharks, who I hate, just not as much as I hate the Ducks, I now can root wholeheartedly for the GK's! And I hope it's Knight v Blue Jackets in the finals! Although you already know you didn't need to, nice post regarding your posts and time on the board.....on a lighter note, not sure if you know this but at the Knights games at "the fortress" they have a ritual during intermission where people who take off their current jersey of the team they have been a fan of playing here that day hand it over and switch their allegiance to the Knights and put their "new team" jersey on then they kneel down on one knee bow their head and get "knighted" by the touch of the Golden Knights sword on each shoulder, on the back of the jersey for the name it says "Knighted". So whenever you and MN are ready to come to a home game here and get "Knighted" let me know and we'll see what we can do, see you on the Jumbotron |

It's actually pretty awesome because generally speaking the crowd is usually about 70/30 VGK to visiting fans so it's pretty amusing to watch. If you haven't gone to one you really need to experience it, I do not know one person that has gone and has not gone back again, it's truly an electric atmosphere, 6 and 1/2 mos. ago my wife didn't know what a puck was, now she tells me what day and time the games are on and everything is centered around them lol...back to MNKD, Omega didn't know you lived here, are you going to the ASM? |

But I speak with Baba frequently, get together with him and have known him since before the start of this board from the agorcom days. I can tell you he is a bona fide long not that he needs me to vouch for him... Enough said. GLTAL's...

Well I'm definitely going to have to look into when I can get some VGK tickets for a home game. As far as the ASM: I'm busy with family in town that week or I'd probally get some time off work and go. I'm sure with everyone going and posting here I won't miss much except great comradery. |

Nothing like playoff hockey, and OT playoff hockey is the absolute best. Close games can be painful to watch. I really thought my time would come and go and I'd never see the Kings win a Cup, then they won two, so that went a long way to satiate a long time desire, as I'd been a fan since 1977. Not much to cheer about in many of those years. Congrats to the group that put together this team - fine job of picking guys who can really skate, they create a lot of room offensively, and they proved they could play great defense, too. Fleury has been a surprise, as he was always considered a so-so goalie with a great team. He was rock solid! Hope we can hang onto our gains of today, they were a great surprise! As would script numbers of 535 tomorrow! |
